I mean, yeah, that's how fake leakers get their kicks, by saying vague stuff and hoping that gullible people stretch the truth.

The primary problem fake leakers are playing into is that people get emotionally attached to things/ideas from the leaks.

If you look at it from a purely creative/fun standpoint like I do, leak season is actually pretty fun, especially when previously datamined information is used to create leaks (or, even more fun, misused).

I mean, I don't see how you could somehow make all of this sound like the truth, but sure!

To be fair to ScaleFace, I don't believe he's the one that posted that which is what people implied earlier in the thread. In the scenario he was indeed told something by a Blizzard friend (and once again not saying that's what happened, we literally can't know), he likely thought that might have been the correct leak (which is pretty much what he replied) because it matched with some of the things he heard.

If I were doing a fake leak, one of the features I would include for 10.0 - because it makes so much sense with the trajectory of everything else - is cross-faction guilds. That could be what the barriers thing is referencing. Not saying 100 percent it is fake, though. (Really, not quite sure what to make of Scaley, one way or the other)

Here's the problem: We have the name Dragonflight. Now, people can use the name, and even more closely, the relevance for predicting the expansion's features. With only 6 days to go, I can wait a bit longer. However, I wouldn't mind another real "leak" to surface before. Of course, I don't want anything significant to ruin the actual reveal. Maybe just a still image of a cinematic (like Bolvar) or some more art like Alexstrasza (if real).
