Blizzard used HotS abilities and concepts for Sylvanas in Sanctum of Domination, and allowed Hunters to use those abilities and concepts.
So it would appear that Blizzard still cares about it.
That is a straw-man. No MMO class is going to play exactly like its MOBA or RTS counterpart, and no one made that argument. However the Demon Hunter class took a lot of concepts from HotS Illidan. Heck, Blizzard even gave Demon Hunters "The Hunt" as a covenant ability which was one of Illidan's abilities in HotS.

He keeps going back to it because DH shares abilities between the two games and he has used that as his basis for saying which classes will or won’t exist and what they will play like while ignoring other non canon sources because they don’t fit his ideas
It’s like how he used steam scale as a way to predict 10.0 claiming the final mount pattern even though it doesn’t fit the pattern
HotS was great! I loved playing it. I know a few guys who still play it. With a proper support it would be great again, like dunno, WoD and Legion.
As for abilities? I belive that Magnisworn Dwarves will just get female dwarves by being huge chunks of diamonds. Girls do love diamondsAny other ideas for racials?
So it’s almost like blizzard can take abilities from those dragons and put it into a dragonsworn class
Huh it’s funny how logic works
Dragonsworn are mortals with dragon power
Thus wouldn’t they have those precious abilities?? Because again one thing does not a pattern make

This is why I feel 10.0 will not come with any new systems. The biggest complaint I've been reading on the official forums is players just wanting to hit max level and jump into their preferred content. They don't want to grind for Flying, Soulbinds, Conduits, forced to do story quests, or do Torghast for legendaries. Below is how it’ll be done I think:
- Level cap raised to 70
- Flying purchasable with gold at 70
- World quests / Callings Removed instead we’ll go back to the TBC formula of a few daily quests in each zone to advance rep gains.
- Reps will be for cosmetics only and catch up gear
- PvP will return to templates to prevent crazy damage and one shots and even out the play field
- PvE gearing will be restricted to Dungeons / Raids only, no outdoor gearing path anymore, due to it being very un-popular. Lots of complaints about the Cyper system in ZM.
- Due to being free from World Content creation, we’ll get 16 new dungeons at launch with 3 raids. 12 boss raid and 2 1 boss raids.
- No anima/Azerite/Artifact power grinds at all, those will be removed and not carried forward for Dragonflight.
- Story quests will all be released at once, but have no player power associated with them; no requirements to complete them unless you want to do them.
- Some kind of crafting overall where mats will need to be gathered from raids/m+ to make some BiS gear.
The final mount before each announcement in the store is connected to the next expansion
In BfA it was the sylverian dreamer
Then for 10.0 he claimed that the steam scale which was released in BfA predicted 10.0 because it was the last mount
He got shown that doesn’t make sense
He then said the anniversary pet predicts 10.0 and tinkers because the steam scale was made by a tinker
Shown that doesn’t make sense
Claims HotS is a requirement for the next classes because they have DH using illidan abilities
Claims dragons are a class and not a race because they can function like worgen
I mean if you guys want a Dragon class sooo bad, but can't get your story together, just have a look at Robin Hobb's work and her Elderlings, which are basically humans that gain extra abilities, have their bodies changed to take up draconic traits, all this from their prolonged exposure and close contact with Dragons.

I'd love it to go to old TBC ways with raiding and attunement chains, just making attunements account wide. Loved those epic quest chains in BC rewarding extremly good gear at the end, but it took a few days to complete one. IMHO TBC is the best framework for expansion for PVE content. WotLK was built upon it and came out great.
Second thing I'd love to go back to Ulduar style hard modes instead of current heroic difficulty. One raid less to run weekly to gear up for mythic? Feels so good man. Those are my wishes from perspective of a twat playing since patch 1.7![]()
