I just wish I was as gullible to believe any random guess, yet also arrogant enough to assume it's actually wrong because a preferred reading of what vaguely might have been confused sounds better to you.

Like, you realize he literally forgot about Shadowlands Season 4, and when it was brought to his attention said "oh that might not actually be happening, was just announced to gauge interest". I'm mystified how anyone can take this seriously and defend it so much, yet also not be committed to anything it actually "leaks".

You could always just @ teriz and talk about how tinker is most definitely the next class in 10.0. I'm sure that'd be a more riveting conversation. /s

    Oh undoubtedly.

90% chance the pre-order opens as soon as the stream ends.

75% chance the 9.2.5 ptr immediately gets the second phase of pre-order bonuses, just like the legion allied races & BFA death knights came with the following patch currently in development

50% chance they release the alpha immediately after the announcement, ergo the "Reveal Event" is literally the formal beginning of the expansion's full press & testing cycle.

Just like the BFA pre-order was Legion allied races, my bet is on Darkfallen Elves for Horde & Alliance. After all, Shadowlands was the "Sylvanas" expansion, now her race will finally be playable.

I wouldn't have thought the SL allied races would be a pre-order bonus but I can see them tying it to that just to earn some extra pre-orders because of the timing. I don't think we're getting another elf race though.

Dragon xpac, sorry, I can assure you, it's something entirely new. Has a few commons with pandas and dh's. That's all folks
    Panda - neutral
DH - Firebreath, armor spikes, wings and transforms maybe?

With Bellulars video the other day. I do think they are going to just ppPoof the sword as it could be written in material, they just dont want to deal with. Now with the gift seed item linking to the next expansion it could be a new world tree.

Sounds about right, someone also mentioned the class customization on DH could be similar.

That was the biggest argument against them. But between the Ghostlands stuff & the Tirisfal stuff, then the Sylvanas book really hamfistedly goes off on this tangent like "Here is the canonical name for the race of undead elves so if you see it pop up in the game remember" makes me finally think "holy moley this might really be happening"

    My conclusion.

    PANDA DEMON HUNTERS.

Folks, you're looking way too deep! Sometimes it's okay to take something at face value!

So, all classes for all races then? I'm down with that!

True, that's actually a better call. Like if you pledge as a Dragonsworn you get special horns and such.

Yeah that's what makes the most sense to me, the race being neutral like Pandaren and the class having customization similar to demon hunter, perhaps wings involved as well.

Ok I think I get what this is all about... when I first saw the name "Dragonflight" I thought it sounded awkward. It makes sense if it's a plot about Chromatic dragonflight (singular), like combining all of the flight powers together. Then we as players basically can pick the powers of any flight we want, either as a Dragonsworn (base race pledges) or the new chromatic dragonborn race.

Time skip or no time skip?

Do you think we are getting a cinematic saying: you returned from the Shadowlands but the Azeroth, you know...is no more!

I think the Chromatic dragonflight might be a safe bet the only issue is the only known chromatic dragon alive(dead?) is Chromatus and I dont think he would be friendly

I don't think we will have a big time skip. My bet is the time in SL passed at the same speed as on Azeroth, so we come back and the Scourge is rampaging but they didn't destroy everything yet.

Could an indication of a playable dragonkin race be the Shadowlands update to the Dreadlords models from 9.1? They made them dimorphic like a playable race (unless I am forgetting previous female Dreadlords). Seems like a decent chunk of work for only 9.1 and 9.2.
What I mean is essentially throw the Dragonid/Dragonkin model on the Dreadlord skeleton and utilise the animations already produced etc.

I hear this often, but... When we first arrived in the Maw and met Thrall, Jaina, etc., a lot of time had passed for them but only a day or two on Azeroth. It stands to reason then if a lot of time passes for us in Shadowlands, *less* relative time has passed on Azeroth. I don't think there will be any sort of time thing but, if there is, it would be us returning and Turalyon/Rokhan/whoever being "but you were only gone a week"!
Cosmic greetings, all, I'm the Raccoonatic Commander!

    Why even poof it?

Its pretty obviously going to be wielded by Azeroth whenever she actually awakens. Just leave it be until then.

The outside perspective of everyone entering the Shadowlands to save Anduin then immediately returning to say "Anduin chose to stay" is very funny.
