To say that he has the same validity as any random bullshit leaker is just not true. It sounds like a classic case of telephone game with him and whoever he got the information from, with some changes and some things being incorrectly conveyed. There is still a large chance he is bullshitting us but let's not pretend this is on par with a 4chan leak.

Okay but what is Alexstasza's class? When I look at her HOTS kit I would sum it up as "Fire Projectiles" and "Nature healing" two specs already (repeatedly) represented in the game. If we get an Alexstrasza class and its specs are "Fire/Restoration/Dragoning" I would be pissed.

You utilize Alexstraza as the class' base (Dragon transformation via ability usage) and you base her spec on healing, you base the Chromie spec on RDPS, and you base the Deathwing spec on Tanking. You use the 30+ abilities and passives those characters possess in HotS as your class guideline.

HotS is free to play if you have Battlenet. I would recommend you download it and give Alexstraza a try. It's a very good character, and forms a very good foundation for a dragon class in WoW.

I think we all know Dragonflight has a high chance of having a dragon race, dragon class and dragon "covenant" (borrowed power system). But what we haven't talked about how that we are definitely only getting one of these three things, because in universe, it wouldn't make sense to have 2 or even all 3.

A Dragon Knight type class would inveritably take abilities from the 5 flights distinct special powers. A solid idea by itself.
A Dragon Race wouldn't be able to be a Dragon Knight because they can't use powers of the other flights, for example a Green Dragon can't breathe fire or a Black Dragon restore life.
Just like it wouldn't make sense for a dragon race to join a covenant of a different color. Same goes for a Dragon Knight double dipping on Dragon powers.
A Dragon class that turns into a dragon? That's solid, but I think its unlikely they'll give them 5 distinct specs and even then it doesn't make sense to change your flight on the fly.

Your character can change their flights because they're a Chromatic dragon, which can imitate the abilities of any flight. I limited the spec selection to three, because only the Red, Black, and Bronze were represented in HotS, and Blue and Green are close thematically to Mages and Druids, and are essentially their dragonsworn.

A Dragon Class is a solid idea but I still think the devs would have more options to create 3 distinct specs if they go with Tinker or Bard. And I don't think people will care if a box with Alexstrasza on it says "New Class Dragonsworn" or "New Class Tinker" either way.

Tinker is still a possibility. Perhaps Gazlowe is on the cover instead of Alexstraza? However, I have a feeling that Blizzard would make a class based on Alexstraza partially because she's a female hero, and with all of Blizzard's bad PR, creating a new class based on a major female character would score them some PR points.

Also I'm super curious about the 'microclasses' thing as I'm 1000% sure if that's legit its actually something else that just kind of has an appearance. Or no one is really groking what a microclass could be.

The Hots abilities makes me think Covenant Abilities make the most sense.

I'm betting on Microclasses and Evoker being BS. The real class is most likely a dragonsworn but maybe with just a different name, which I guess could be an Evoker but I don't see why they would go with that name.

Difference being that the DH intro cinematic didn't exist yet.

Besides, Gul'dan's involvement in ushering the Legion was heavily speculated. So was Illidan's return with Chris Metzen literally asking if we wanted him back at Blizzcon to cheers. We knew it was happening, we just thought it would be an expansion earlier than it did.

So all we have from this guy is that a class and or race is involved that have overlap with how Blizzard has previously implemented things, plus a cold reading that SOME interpreted to mean Evoker. When the race/class part has been speculated to be the case by 40 other leaks as well.

You clearly didn't read any of my posts then. I believe he is probably telling the truth, and is incorrect because of the telephone game and or some details being changed by whoever gave him that information. He never confirmed Evoker was the name, unless I missed a post.

Dunno man, there is no any info about shadowlands - s4 looks like canceled (or was bait to check players reaction) if they really want to push it to november.
Also, it's true that wotlk classic will be just 2 months before - if nothing will change (for now its scheduled for 09.22) - and it's weird af.

Another thing is that there is no name of "iconic villain" of 10.x but only one who (for me) fit the theme and place of expansion is Galakrond.
Someone wroted before about dragonsworn etc - no, class name is totally out of my mind. In first moment when I read that i thought "hello? we have mages already!". It's similiar to one spell name of arcane mage :P

Chronomancer (Chrono Shift) or Timewalker (Time Warp) I guess.

WoW getting a full time mage class before FF14 would be actually hysterical to me. Very common class type in that franchise.

I posted the evidence that he got leaks correct in the past, and you disagreed with it. I don't know what else there is to discuss.

If your belief is he got everything wrong and actually meant something else you would prefer, why are you insistent on them being correct? It's the microclasses leak all over again.
