The real question is what the Maldraxxus one would be, though it would probably be the bulky gladiators, as they are the only Necrolord race that seems to have visually distinct men and women.

It should be noted that we don't know how Sylvar are made, they don't have "ghosts can turn into them" lore like Kyrian, Venthyr and Necrolords do.

However I kind of doubt they would go for another faction war thing so soon... though from the tone of the leak it is not actually a faction war.

Also interesting that the Calia's daughter/son thing could end up with him being trans: I took it as the Scarlets were pretending she was a boy to make his/their claim to Lordaeron more legitimate, but it could very well be a trans character.

Gallywix raid sounds great, but why not in Undermine. And where the fuck is Turalyon? None of these leaks ever mention him.

A number of the Legion races are implied to be corrupted mortals like Eredar, but I don't think ALL of them would be. If this leak is legit I assume this is a miscommunication and we are just meeting more demons that are confirmed to be OG demons.

It feels like a lorehead going to town on the Dragonflight text leak and filling in the dots. Some of it is still wacky though, especially in regards to microclasses being a spec and Covenant ARs (both of which I don't expect ever).

Any class can unlock any microclass???

That's the approach to most popular leaks, isn't it? Simply because it is natural to have difficulty separating what we want from what is objectively likely. And people who write these things know that.

the micro classes is one of the most stupid ideas for getting news specs in the game, and only make sense if they do to all classes, and like two new healers specs? that dont make any sense, if you want to do "micro classes" the obviously approach if getting 2 ranged specs and a healer spec.

I do not think that part is true, classes with one spec can create a lot of problems with the people that play that, and i doubt a lot, and the other thing, from all the microclasses are draco themed..and what does do in the leak tinker? its seems like the guy that write that simply has pick the topics about dragonsworn and tinker as resource.

Someone in the other thread pointed out that the new leak says that preorders will be open "in the coming months"... which is likely bullshit, as we see multiple preorder bonuses already shipped to live like the emerald drake, the vulpera looking pet and all the capes.

I think they will just add Darkfallen NE and BE as "Shadowlands races" and call it a day. They resemble Sylvanas, are tied heavily to Wrath (especially the San'layn) and are sexy elves that would be popular. They are also not as tied to SL lore which is unpopular.

Not only would this make no sense for Fae and Necros, as Souls in Ardenweald just keep their normal form and take on a Soulshape, and Necrolords are all over with their designs, but this would basically mean they are granting players a free race change.

Currently the only shadowlands race we know of that operates in the living world is necrolords and that’s because of how they as a race function. They are the vanguard of the shadowlands and choose a physical form while the Kyrian are able to interact with spirits

I doubt Blizzard is every going to do that. The general trend is to make the UI more fugly as time goes on. Pretty much half the playerbase and more use fucking sterile space ship UIs with random icons strewn across their screen thanks to WA. Investing in an UI update seems folly to me, given most people seemingly try to get as far away from it as possible (even though I prefer it as well).

Glad we agree. For me sterile space ship UIs are immersion breaking outside of Sci-fi games.

I don't think Blizz would take that chance, beast looking races are only wanted by a minority they'd want to appeal to the masses and bring people back.

However they did still add Mechagnomes & Kul Tirans.

This is all assuming the leak of “one race and a class to go with it” is true
I guess it would just depend on exactly how they implement them because 2D Art doesn’t always transfer over well to 3D assets as we’ve seen in WoW.

If they managed to make the race look cool/monstrous without making it look just purely ugly (like female Kul Tirans) then I’d see them being somewhat popular.

Add in a shapeshifting racial to emulate what the dragons do (so we’ve seen the Drakonids do several times) and I guarantee they’ll be be a little popular.
