People insist T&E are used as some kind of direct blizzard r&d outreach despite their information always being wrong.
For the love of god: The patch & the expansion release are not the same thing. 10.0 might come out up to 3 months before actual expansion release date.
These sound like the worst possible ideas for an expansion. I'd uninstall instantly.

Anima Power wasn’t even a thing even if the fandom swore up and down it would be. Unless angel wings and pets are crucial to player power.

You needed to collect 1000 Anima every week so you could progress your soulbinds, which was mandatory for character power progression.

I could see a new race as being a name/look that we haven’t seen before. Some Dragon-inspired race of beings that live on the Dragon Isles but aren’t specifically part of the aspects. Probably some ‘Dragon-guardians’ type shit.

My thoughts also, guardians of the Dragon Isles perhaps? Or dragons from a new brood/flight?

100% probably dragonspawn. From the non-canon RPG:
Dragonspawn are monstrous beings trained to serve under the five dragonflights of the world, and some say they evolved from humans who dedicated their lives to servitude under the great dragons.

And the current lore about what are dragonspawn is very limited besides being in the game for so long. Perfect time to expand their lore.

This probably can be reworked to make them more human.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they just said “Oh hey this is what they’re actual name is in dragon tongue you all just call them Drakonids/Drakonnar”

That or it’s a variation of the Drakonids. Maybe Vrykul that found the Dragon Isles and were transformed/empowered?

Not necessarily, they could have a specific name as it is the name of their stranded group / culture that detached from other drakonids. Just like how Draenei call themselves Draenei, when the actual name of the race is eredar, and Draenei means Exiled Ones.

Yeah I didn't actually think of that, good point! It sounds extremely draconic so any dragon related race would be exciting for me.

I think a reptilian race of some sort is very possible. It has been a whole trope for RPG's, Iksar on EQ and Argonian on Elder Scrolls. D&D/Neverwinter MMO has the Dragonborn. And I think some (not all) of the Sethrak and Naga fans might be generally happy with such a race. Really, I thought during BfA that Sethrak was their way to make a Naga-like race that better fits a playable race form. But that didn't pan out.
