I've been trying to fit either letter combinations to known races in lore. No fit, so it might be possible that we are dealing with an unknown race. Maybe known in DnD or somewhere else, but not WoW.

What I DID notice was how popular the YR ending is for races. Satyr, Vampyr, Venthyr, Valkyr. Heh, and quite a few of these were relevant in SL.
