Regarding the Draakyk thing, I'd like to slide in that draak is Dutch for dragon. Just a random thought, take it as you will.

Drak is very commonly associated with dragons.

The Drekirjar are Vykrul loyal to the keepers and Titans and have a standing agreement to ride dragons, specifically Thorignir. Storm Drakes.

If they combed through lore of races that worked closely with dragons when designing Dragon Isles, it would make sense if they incorporated Vrykul and Night Elves (Loreth'Aran) into their lore. Though Nelf stuff is kind of spammed lately.

This would fit pretty well with the whole dragon-raising thing, except for the fact they're storm drakes

Old novel, Day of the Dragon by Knack, but it is basically the blueprint for Aspects and Dragons in WoW. Deathwing says there are more than just the 5 Dragonflights. Storm Drakes are dragons in the same sense of the Dragons we see flying in Eluinaria and the Dragons we see in Deepholm.

If they combed through lore of races that worked closely with dragons when designing Dragon Isles, it would make sense if they incorporated Vrykul and Night Elves (Loreth'Aran) into their lore. Though Nelf stuff is kind of spammed lately.

Loreth'Aran is almost certainly going to be featured. I expect a secret Night Elf city or empire or something.

I hear this often, but... When we first arrived in the Maw and met Thrall, Jaina, etc., a lot of time had passed for them but only a day or two on Azeroth. It stands to reason then if a lot of time passes for us in Shadowlands, *less* relative time has passed on Azeroth. I don't think there will be any sort of time thing but, if there is, it would be us returning and Turalyon/Rokhan/whoever being "but you were only gone a week"!

I thought so too but the epilogue squashed those thoughts. The major lore characters that stayed behind on Azeroth are present when Pelagos gives Sylvanas to Tyrande. Surely if there was a timeskip that should have been a factor then.

But you literally can get the drakonaar race if you combine Scaleface's Riddle, Hitei's combination and the two Wolves. If thats a coincidence, especially with them being draconic guardians for the Flights, then I am no penguin.

Edit: This also goes in line with Tom Chilton speaking about adding them as a playable race.

I think that the Loreth'aran are going to be expanded to be different. I think it's going to be changed so they were not part of Azshara's empire with the might of the dragons giving them some autonomy.
