Now that I've found my avatar and signature, let's talk about how drobar are definitely in Dragonflight as an important race because they are related to Deathwing and definitely will feature in a black dragonflight zone.

Actually, trolling aside, we may see Drogbars again in the future along with Ettins, there is a missing link that was retconned during Legion and left... open.

True - they already gave us Tortollans so anything good from Hearthstone should have a chance to appear. Honestly, the last few Hearthstone Expansions felt more Warcraft than Shadowlands anyways so it would be healthy for WoW to adapt some things from their sister game.

Tortollans are probably the biggest thing that came over. We also have the Hearthstone Original League of Explorers members that made there way into the game in both Legion and BFA. And the Darkness reference as mentioned before. I honestly would be shocked if the Hearthstone mercenary characters that we followed for the last year didnt make their way into the game. Specially because with the theme of the expansion Kazakus(Kazakusan) is probably another one that could make his way over to WoW easily.

God I hope so, not just because the Drogbar are the coolest race and embody the gym-rat archetype better than any yucky orc ever could /s. But because, they-who-shall-not-be-named, they actually would have a strong lore reason to be there.

Ettins could appear on Balor if we get it with Dragonflight. And Drogbars were implied to be corrupted Titan experiments similiar to Throggs so we could see their origin if we get that Uldaz zone too?

The Darkness was a legendary card in Hearthstone that was a 4 drop 20/20 that once u drew into all 3 candles he became active.

Jokes aside, drogbar would have a pretty good reason to be involved if we're getting new black dragonflight lore.

But I also wouldn't count on it because they seemed like a one-off kind of thing that was specific to Highmountain... A bit like grummles (MoP) or pygmies (Cata); did we ever see either of those outside of their respective expansions?

But I also wouldn't count on it because they seemed like a one-off kind of thing that was specific to Highmountain... A bit like grummles (MoP) or pygmies (Cata); did we ever see either of those outside of their respective expansions?

Weren't the pygmies supposed be somehow related to the goblin ancestor race?. I think Drogbar would honestly (not doing the bit here) be a better predecessor race to Goblin. Fewer racist stereotypes. Also kinda works with how Goblins made the metal plates for Deathwing if I'm not mistaken.

Oh yes! Also Reno from the Explorer's League who is already ingame is actually a dragon so we could see him too in his blue dragon form with 10.0 <3
