So let's entertain what an Evoker even is beyond just the name if such a thing were to be accurate.

Is it someone that draws off the power of the dragons themselves? Is it a Life-oriented class that is using the same empowerments that the Titans utilized, making the class itself a sort of "soft" player version of effectively playing an Aspect?

It just seems like a strange choice compared to Dragonsworn or Dragon____ in any case. But perhaps it's the same idea in concept.

Well that’s a rather large problem; without a major point of difference (like draconic transformation) we just have another spellcaster. There really isn’t much left magic-wise to create unique and interesting vspecs.

This is the real question what would the evoker do? I mean if scaleface's leak has any credibility, it seems like he was saying the race has the draconic transformation/meta form.

I would assume it to be ‘Evoking’ the power of the Aspects. Perhaps three specs based off of the different flights. Red for healing black for DPS….or whatever.

A healing spec that plays exactly like all the other healing specs. You target people and you heal them.

It's obviously a caster that uses aspect magic. Life, Time, etc.

So here's a weird thing. I have developed a few different types of gut feelings over the last decade or so and after that accidental 9.2.5 Beta build instead of PTR, the secretive wowdev3 96.0 build, PTR not coming back up until "early next week" as well as last nights new encrypted vendor endpoints, I am currently stuck in the "datamining of first public build is any day now" gut feeling. Like, I feel the need to update my "expansion datamining night" Spotify playlist.

Anyone with me or did I eat something bad at the office party yesterday?

Not gonna lie...I sat here and burst out laughing when I read that. lol

Honestly story wise legion start was pretty well paced for (7.0, 7.1, 7.1.5). Even after reaching max level you spent some time unlocking story with class campaigns and unlocking suramar, profession quests, then shortlty after 7.1 hit with a Karazhan Questline, new Questline for Odyn and Helya IIRC (along with the raid) and the new suramar campaign to prepare for the raid. 7.1.5 wasn't too heavy on the story but still had some IIRC and Brawlers Guild for additional content.

In 7.2 the story kinda fell off with the Campaign with almost all filler chapters.

Would like to see a whole expansion where they manage to pull of the early legion amount of story

I wish they stopped timegating the story. I think at least Naz'jatar and Zereth Mortis do have a full set of questlines and side quests in them that explore the entire zone; most other sandbox zones do not. But even with the quests being there the timegating breaks the pace too much. If you are going to gate the story do it in a meaningful and interactive way like with Isle of Thunder.
