We sucked out its power with our artifacts.

Needlessly so, and the ranking up of pieces was just daft. It should have just been increasing costs of soul ash to a base item, not better ranked base items as well. Would have allowed for your legendary to grow in power alongside you as the expansion progressed.

OK, glad to see I wasn't alone on that. I used to love crafting my own gear on my main and this time I just bought Grim Veiled whatever slot item as it seemed a bizarre notion to rank them up.

Honestly it would be cool for arcane to deal gravity damage. Pure arcane and gravity abilities.

mmm true, main reason for thinking that is Blizz has one pattern since Wrath the wrap around the edge has to do with the xpac theme and Green dragon wings is the Wrap this time

Or figure out a way to balance it so that the only way to increase difficulty without increasing complexity is turning bosses into damage sponges that feel awful to fight.

Normal isn't actually easier but it sure as hell feels like it because it isnt forced to be tuned around LFR.
I think lfr needs few mechanics. Take 1 to 3 of the important fight defining mechanics and make them harder. Remove the rest and make the bosses die faster. 2 to 3 min fights instead. Easy if 75% of the raid does the few mechanics. If not you wipe and it teaches u the most important parts of the fight.

That kobold concept is great! I'd play it for sure. Now I want to see him make one for gnolls.

Thought we sucked out the fel energies not the rest? Or is it because no one paid attention to this bit of info that people still complain about the sword?

    What year is it? Hah.
While I'd like to see it's removal I think it's never gonna happen. What could happen is tuning it differently to actually be a teaching tool. Having all the mechanics of normal but hitting like noodles teaches people nothing. Fewer abilities but all there are important and can wipe you. Faster fights to compensate so a wipe isn't a big deal.

The only thing I would change is the mount. It should be a giant mole like the hearthstone Gravelsnout Knight card.

However there IS a reason to not do that. And that's the social health of the game. There are numerous small social guilds and their glue is normal raiding. Make it available on a queue and you may well kill all of them. The relatively skilled players who are the only reason those guilds ever clear a raid will be gone and those guilds will collapse. It will be even worse if you make Heroic available on a queue.

    It's a really interesting conundrum.
Also I think currently mythic raiding is too hard. Sure have a hard mythic+ mode with cosmetics but there's a reason people aren't clearing raids as much as they used too. Mythic should be as hard as current heroic raids maybe slightly harder. That's it.

    Final predictions

Main 10.0 enemy is in fact Chromatus
Each patch is genuinely its own story this time with 10.1 having an entirely different focus from the Chromatic dragonflight
    New Caverns of Time instances
Dragon Isles is a small continent with some revamped zones in the old world (remember, we now have Quel'thalas hints, Lordaeron rebuilding, new human building models, and those Northrend zone updated models)
There is some cutesy or pretty race in the Dragon Isles we've never heard of
The Light is the B plot with Turalyon doing bad shit to build up 11.0 or maybe just 10.3
Dragonsworn class (3 specs at most)
    No new races
    No class skins
No level cap increase, Shadowlands becomes Chromie time content
    Squish to 50
    World quest system change
Instead of covenants you pick a lore figure to hang out with basically (examples; Wrathian, Alexstrazsa, Khadgar, Magni, etc)

I'd like pretty much all of this.

    I'd like to add:

No more pvp level ranges. Instanced PvP scales you up to 60. You have pvp skills and stats. Gear is meaningless*. Rewards are XP, gold, cosmetics and mounts. What makes you win/lose is not stats but how good a player you are in PvP and how well you work with your team. You hit level 10 and can level to 60 only in pvp if you want.

*It'll have stats for world pvp but equivalent to similar ilevel PvE gear.

They tried this in legion and ended going back on it. So even tho it would be better for the game i doubt we will see this again :/
