Not sure how big of a lag you're talking about, but I remember the website for the expansion has usually gone up during the announcement (usually during the trailer or slightly before it) and there's almost always been more information than the trailer gave away.

Nozdormu will ask for help in resisting the whispers of the Void that will turn him into Murozond (it is confirmed that Nozdormu turns into Murozond due to Old God machinations). Vereesa, who has a history with dragons from the novel, will suggest her sister Alleria to aid him.

Meh. It would make more sense for him to ask for help to ensure his fall doesn't cause more harm than necessary. He knows he can't prevent it.

Yes, I just looked at August 2015 from Gamescom Legion announcement. News sites were putting out information from the reveal anywhere from 9-10 a.m. PDT/12-1 p.m. EDT.

Since its on YT and Twitch it won't be anything as intricate as Blizzcon is with it's special layout, but they will probably go into details as well.

From what I know/have heard, it will be rather lengthy; however, I am hearing mixed signals as to whether it will be live (livestream) or pre-recorded (livestream).

My totally made-up predictions for the expansion reveal:

- World of Warcraft: Dragonflight
- new battleground in pre-patch
- new continent: the Dragon Isles (five new zones, each representing a dragon flight with the black dragon flight zone being max level)
- the Dragon Isles are between Northrend and Lordaeron
- Vrykul will make a return as an antagonist allied to the black dragon flight
- max-level zone will be entirely underground
- join a dragon flight and help them regain their aspect power (the 10.0 quest lines)
- each dragon flight gives you two powers (ability + transformation into a dragon flying mount) but these only work outdoors (not in instanced raids, dungeons and PvP)
- you can swap immediately without repercussions to other flights and continue their story line
- new raid with six bosses and a one-boss Onyxia/Sartharion-like raid
- time walking will always be on and on a two week rotation - completing five dungeons every two weeks gives you the bonus cache from the quest
- raid and PvP sets come in five different variants, each representing a dragon flight
- no big bad boss this expansion
- Ysera won't be in this expansion as she cannot leave Ardenweald, we travel back and forth to her
- Stormwind gets a new ruler
- flying once every explore achievement is done + at least one dragon flight questline
