I will never understand why they do not repurpose at least the raid environments.
Honestly if it was me, LFR would be replaced with a heroic dungeon or scenario (with NPC help) equivalent. The other MMORPGs I've played do not insist on resolving the most important plot points into content that only a small part of the community will really do.

Is there a difference? If it only has 1 "specialization" then it effectively has no specializations, it's just a base class. So 0 spec class is a more proper way to see it imo!
Why?
Housing requires decorative assets, assets that Blizzard creates en-masse every patch, let alone every expansion.
It's arguably less work than transmog cosmetics, as those need to be specifically created, whereas the assets used for furniture would have to be made either way for a zone.
Nvm the almost 20 years worth of assets that are already in the game and can be utilized.
It's literally a one time resource dump that sustains itself afterwards.

Perhaps, though the curse of the Worgen has it as a permanent form that the Gilneans had to fight off & learn how to control rather than something that just happened on occasion & went away. In that sense, I feel like a cooldown Metamorphosis system wouldn't really fit lore-wise, even if it could extend gameplay in a manner similar to the FFXIV Reaper's Avatar. Plus, while a cooldown Worgen could be cool for Warriors & Rogues, it would still feel weird for casters. Which means it would still seemingly be limited to only a handful of classes whereas something like the Void (which you also mention) could really enhance pretty much anyone.
I honestly feel if they went a bit more subtle with the animations & perhaps gave them a voice that didn't sound like it came from a long time chain smoker, they might solve a lot of the issues current Worgen have.
Yes, that's why I said Battle Pets.
Critters are added every patch of WoW, so making them battle pets requires only a tiny bit more effort.
However, similar to Battle Pets housing would require a significant amount of upfront effort to make int osomething worthwhile, and at the end it would probably be a niche thing that ends up more of a curiosity for players, like learning that you can use these battle pets to gain useful teleports or cool titles.
Make the entire system surrounding housing and it would prbably be close to self-sustaining. But that wouldnt make it less of a commitment for the dev team to actually make it work to begin with.

If they add housing, do it Wildstar style or don't bother.
I want endless customization and crazy nonsense
Yeah you are right. But you know with less subtlety, it is less werewolf fantasy. What I am suggesting for Worgen is closer to the original pack form. And yes this endgame power boosts should be managed carefully to make sure none is a definitive best. Sure there would be a meta, but that won't matter much outside of Mythic stuff.
I'll be at the dentist when this announcement begins. I'm hoping for some good news when I'm done.
On a different note. Now that we are 25 hours away from the reveal, do you think we will get a small glimps into what we will see tomorrow on social networks today? Like a still from a cinematic, a 3 sec gif, a part of a logo, or smth else to raise the hype together with "make sure to tune in tomorrow to..."?
I somehow doubt it. The current "tune in" announcement is entirely devoid of any hints whatsoever, so I imagine Blizzard might be banking on a mystery being more tantalising the less you know.
If Blizzard were looking to give hints i imagine they would have done so already.

If this isn't Dragonflight, hands down most surprising expac reveal ever. But nah it's gonna be Dragonflight
