Yes, he admitted to using WoW as a template when the game was relaunched. But anyone who says this isn't going both ways is not paying attention.

I feel like Blizzard has only recently been looking at XIV for inspiration, which is good. Hopefully it leads them to making a good game finally

Just fyi, if this is a flashback, it could be anywhere on Azeroth. They could be showing what the Dragonmaw made her do while in their captivity, including razing and destroying cities.

lmao no it isn't there is no mod for MHW that adds in 'Alexstrzsa' and there's no area in game that has a stone structure like that. Ive put 500+ mhours into World and Iceborne and browse the nexus for it very often

Chronicle 2 transplanted most of the AU to the original timeline in terms of orcish clan structure, so at least the Blackrocks were likely gray. But nothing about the Dragonmaw should make them stand out since there's no indication they had a different lifestyle. If anything they were bootleg Thunderlords.

If i recall there is a hint about a clan of white orcs, i dunno if it was chronicles 2 or other stuff. They were wipe out by gul'dan schemes i think

Answering both, most of the blackrock were brown, some of then may be grey, but they all turned to green with the orcish corruption, then they turned grey after being without sunlight

The dragonmaw color is likely due to dragon magic altering then, because their glowing eyes.

That's a possibility, since proximity to dragons and they magic can alter the appearance of mortals. That's what happens to the Drakonoids.

Hey, first time posting. Decided to put some photoshop skills to use. And added one of the orc models posted here, next to the figure on the supposed leak. Maybe it will be helpful to some. I'm not saying it's definitive proof, just fun speculation but since i'm a new member. Can't post links here. So just joining the discussion and will post as soon as I can But to add to the conversation, I tested several orc models and mok'nathal fitted the most after having some time with pupper warping to fit the figure.

Otherwise, I'm currently feeling more optimistic, so my predictions today are happier than last night. I'm currently thinking we'll get a 3 spec dragon-style class available to all races with DH-style customizations, alongside a new neutral race. The expansion I think will be centered around each flight as well as the Light & Void, and that we will fight each aspect once. There will be some new feature that no one has mentioned yet alongside some minor world revamps to places like Gilneas.

Welcome to the forum.

It's CGI, so I wouldn't base anything on models. For example, the Orc in the MoP cinematic has way different proportions than the Orcs in the WoD and BFA cinematics.
