Don't discount the marketing benefits of a new UI. WoW needs a makeover and a new beginning and Blizzard must know it. Showing off a new UI that they can use to say "look, we're bringing WoW into the modern era" would be huge.

That's true. Imagine world revamp. New ui. Housing profession overhaul new class and race. That's how you get returning and even new players to check wow out.

Different PoV. Garrosh is definitively out there. He already had a fitting end in WoD, a cinematic for him dying by his former Warchief. A satisfying ending.

Why the hell will they bring him back in Shadowlands? Why they will bother to put him in one of the pre-expansion cinematics of each Covenant? Just to kill him in another cinematic? Doubt so.

The Dragonmaw are still out there, and still loyal to Garrosh, as they have not had any major development since WoD. The plot thickens.

BTW, did Garrosh got Zaela pregnant at some point? Could there be a mini-Garrosh? Could that mini-Garrosh be old enough to want to avenge his father if a timeskip happens?

Dunno, to show that some souls do not want to repent, in contrast to Kael? His soul got literally obliterated in that cutscene.

The new main hub will be called the Citadel of Garrosh.
It’s going to be an orbiting space station like Netherlight temple & The Vindicaar.

There we find the Infinite Garroshes who could travel to alternate realities and they’re trying to build the Central Finite Garrosh Curve.

In the Garrosh cutscene in Shadowlands, Garrosh says "every choice I made, I would proudly make again" and then he disenchants himself. Could this be foreshadowing that he in fact didn't disenchant himself, but rather teleported himself to the past in Back to the Future style?! And the next expansion will be us helping him make every choice he ever made again? Just like he said he was going to?!

Definitely foreshadowing and I'm 100% serious here. Totally.

Yeah true. That pic was from 10/28/19. Shadowlands was announced at BlizzCon on 11/1.

Highly doubtful. Such a class would go against standard WoW expansion class implementation. Also with the arcane spec, there really isn’t anywhere for the concept to go without cannibalizing mages.

People seem to forget that the silhouette of Orcs is very different in cinematics. It's longer - a lot less square.

There will be a whole Garrosh council with mini-Garrosh, Ghost Garrosh, Dragon who looks like Garrosh, and AU Lightforged Garrosh. And who knows what else?

But that guy in the cinematic looks like Garrosh to me, and they would definitively have a lot of ways to bring him back, as I pointed out:

- We know that a Lightbound Garrosh is alive and well.
- We know that our Garrosh MIGHT still be out there.
- We know that Garrosh and Zaela COULD have a son.

Whatever the fuck he is wearing, you can clearly see the cloth overlaying him reaching up to his neck.

Would i like a time travel expansion? Depends, if done good it would be great.

Also after Shadowlands it was promised that we go back to azeroth to be grounded into the world more. Wasn't there something similar said back when they announced WoD? That they wanted to go back to basic warcraft stuff after MoP, to be grounded again.

And the time between warcraft2 and warcraft3 is open for exploration. They could easily get plotpoints from the scrapped Lord of the Clans game into this in addition. There would be a horde vs. alliance conflict (for PvP) which would be not tied to the current horde/alliance relations.

And if the expansion is dragon themed it would be THE one point to add in Nozdormus fall to become the infinite Murozond. Perhaps at the end of Dragonflight we destroy the dragon isles and this kicks Nozdormu into Murozond?

Many possibilities.

Im most excited about tomorrow finally disproving Teriz with his fanatic idea of WC3 / HotS being relevant for new Class design.

Until we get playable Dragons or even a Tinker similiar to WC3 and HoTS.

Sure, but they wouldn't do something as ridiculous as cannibalizing two existing classes and bringing out a class that has no established fan base. Especially when they have a superior alternative.

I think the difference is that we have not had something leak that conclusively links several leaks together.

This image for instance was considered likely, but wasnt considered fully real until the image was found on the Blizzard websites, which in turn made the name Shadowlands confirmed.

The Alexstrasza image is likely, but not really confirmed given we only know the name and nothing else. Could be a fake someone made quickly, slapped a name onto and blurred out a bit to hide evidence.

Hey, if I'm wrong, I'll freely admit it. I never claim that I'm some Blizzard insider or dev. I simply don't buy the idea that Blizzard is going to make Mage 2.0 when they have a literal Alexstraza class with abilities, concepts, and an established fanbase ready to go.

I think they could, but only really if they are aiming for a WoD or Legion style class revamp. Looking at several classes and ensuring they have a defined niche and such.

I'm going with the latter, because I think I've seen that "Alexstraza" somewhere before too. Can't put my finger on it though.
