IMO, with how much seemed to be cut from Shadowlands, I'm not certain this is actually fake. Could've been a legitimate work in progress. Obviously the main counterpoint is that a lot of fan work is getting so good that it's getting hard to tell anymore.

I've mentioned a couple of times that it's just text in files, I think @Axaron thinks the same - today it is described as Evoker, tomorrow (although as I wrote before that, I doubt that the name will change at the last minute) it will turn out is YA or NAH
Then I'll be rated; p as "pro troll", "idiot" or whatever ... At least most of You had a rather good time and I'm glad of that

Awesome thank you! Idk in my opinion that looks more like a real life image "blurred" up with a fake Necropolis above it. I can see how that one was debunked. This new image would take way more effort to recreate. Might even require rigging some models from scratch or altering them from another game for Alex as well. Still betting on this one being real. But I was duped by the Tel'Abim image from the BFA thread all those years ago a day before the announcement.

Even if you 100% believe this, don't post opinions as fact, it's very confusing to the discourse. That hasn't been "confirmed" at all yet.

Because they want the stuff to be fake for reason A or reason B.

What is QTE style casting?

It's something where you do certain things in a cutscene, it was used in games like Dragon's Lair (hence my teenager quote above) and Shenmue. I still need to see it in action.

Seems like Blizzard is attempting to actively avoid NFTs, whereas Square Enix is actively embracing them.
Will be an interesting next couple of years depending on whether NFTs catch on.


Wonder how long until Square Enix backtracks from actively encouraging scams though.

Given that they don't actually add any meaningful capabilities, i seriously doubt they'll ever catch. WoW's architecture can already do pretty much everything NFTs purport to be useful for.

The Blizzard Cinematic team is amazing, and I have no doubt they can produce images that look insanely real.

I'm just surprised at the few people who think it is 100% false. If you meet it with healthy skepticism that makes more sense. But some people are absolutely sure it isn't real and those are the people that will look foolish tomorrow and will make for good signatures. Only siths deal in absolutes.

If the class name was Invoker it would directly tie in with the Invoke keyword from Descent of Dragons.

Didn't scaleface say the new race would be a mix of Vrykul and dragon? That's probably what the dracthyr look like. The "hood" in the picture probably isn't a hood at all, but the pointed head of a dragon.
