Maybe 20ish pages ago someone posted a high resolution side by side with the Garrosh cinematic model and the image. The hood looks vastly different imo. I guess we won't know until tomorrow, but my money is on it being a real image. Just like SL.

I consider this and the SL image to be on different planes of reality in terms of legitimacy.

The SL one came straight from a purchase pamphlet and was super high quality and we also got the logo and Kyrian stuff around the same time.

This one is...messy. Possible but utterly ridiculous in terms of how every piece of information has been delivered with maximum attention whoring.

It may have been entertaining in the short term but in the long run, to encourage it...in 2 years time, you think this leak season was obnoxious? "You think you do, but you don't." This place is going to turn into Unfiction's taint.

How do you know it didn't exist yet? It was shortly before it was revealed at Gamescom.

Because that cinematic didn't show up until release if I'm not mistaken. It could've been worked on internally but that's an awfully big mistake to make on something that likely was getting touched up for quite a while after the fact.

Like, what kind of insane cope is that? Someone would just happen to conflate two totally different styles of cinematic, one of which that has nothing to do with the reveal?

I don't think almost anything he's said is real. I just believe the images are real. The rest is just headcannon trying to generate discussion and then hopefully be "right" to make them seem like they're in the know.

If he has access to that picture, why would he have to make anything up?

For serious though, regardless of what else happens I have a very specific set of things I expect to happen.

-Major Profession overhauls.
-Major Class Overhauls across the board.
-New class with 5 specs (It's just a feeling and by far the one that is least likely to happen)
-Partially updated overworld content.
-The Night Elves new home is not going to be what is expected. I know people are theorizing with the Winter Queens gift that Teld will be regrown.
-A largely faction neutral storyline with Elunite stuff being carried by the Nightborne on the Horde.

No argument there. Garrosh got the perfect ending in SL.

As for Thrall, I might be in the minority, but I always found him boring. Okay not in WCIII, but ever since WoW began he wasn't really that interesting. His character was pretty much "he was raised by humans so he relates to them a lot". But Now we have Bane who is three alliance characters in a trenchcoat, Calia who is pretty fucking much an Alliance character she just leads a Horde faction cause she is undead, and Lor'Themar who was never really all that pro Horde, but the Night Elves hate him and he has trouble saying no to Sylvanas so he tagged along. Thrall being pro-human does not make him unique anymore. Let him go back to his family and farm.

I laughed out loud at this.

Maybe he is boring? I guess because he was WC when I started and I liked the way he ran things; Garrosh was too imperialistic for me, Vol'jin didn't have a long enough tenure, and Sylvanas...sigh. I'll go further; I still think it's cool when he one-shots the guards in the Old Hillsbrad dungeon.

Funny, I never realized how much of my identity affected my perception of the characters. I want the faction I play for to do things with honor, and for the right reasons, and it's uncomfortable to me when my story path has me follow shady orders. That's why I liked that the Horde was basically opposed to Garrosh in MoP (damn Blizz for pitting us against Nazgrim), and despised the fact that it took them so long to let us do the same with Sylvanas.

I guess at any rate I would like to see Blizzard show us where the Horde is going, since it was put on hold so we could stop the Primus, I mean the Jailer's, plans for cosmic annihilation.

I feel like 4-5 spec class is a very possible candidate. Thats also why we didnt get a class last expansion and it would also work nicely with them just having to work on two specs for DH.

We have lots of non-native speakers who can still use basic editing, proof reading, or just convey their ideas better with less complex syntax.

Language or not, the ideas conveyed are bizarrely overwrought and are needlessly difficult to present. "These the Dracthyr, they're dragon men with these characteristics. The class is Evoker and all I know regarding it is X and Y."

Not everything needs to be an ARG if it means calling your own legitimacy into question.

Just because we have lots of non native English speakers in here that are better spoken in regards to it is irrelevant. Not everyone is going to grasp a second or even third or fourth language as well as other people. You also shouldn't try to shame them for it and use it as means to insult them, something which you clearly seem proud of, going off other posts from you regarding the matter.

It looks like an orc from the Warcraft movie. The color palette is the same at least. (Clothing + skin) all basically looking the same color.

That's fair enough, but we also have the other leak that corresponds with this image. Dragonflight with Alex on the front of the "cover". That image looked really legit to me as well. If the image Scale shared is fake then its probably the best "fake" cinematic image we've ever gotten despite its quality. I'll stand by it being real. I think all his text about the expac is likely BS and he's just doing that for attention. The images just support his outlandish claims and he gets his time in the "sun" since he happened to get his hands on this somehow.

OT - I desperately hope that the figure in front of Alex isn't a Dracthyr. It doesn't fit how I'd imagine a Dragon esque race to be.

I'm with the camp that it's a flashback and the figure is a Dragonmaw Orc.
