Why do people keep trying to validate the leaks by saying it's true unless those multiple guys all worked together? Couldn't it just be the same dude...

It's also not that crazy to think some guy made up a dragon race, but Blizzard was legitimately doing a dragon race. A (fake) Shadowlands leak was the primary believed leak before Shadowlands was announced.

Same goes for the leakers, yet many are too quick to believe them with no proof of authenticity.

No I would quit because I'm starting to grow out of games and mostly just see them as a waste of time in general. I still think the moment to moment of WoW is the best it's ever been but I've had one foot out the door in general since I've been actively spending time in therapy, exercise, back to school, etc. It wouldn't be like oh man this one thing is so ass I'm out more like this is so offputting and I've already been trying to cut back anyways so I'm out.

Ah, if that's your mindset, nothing but a revolution in game design could save WoW or gaming for you. Maybe you should take a break. A lot of people take a few years off and come back fresh and hyped again.

Also, notice how they are still consistent with Blizzard designs (head size, body shape) and have no serious clipping or modeling errors. Similarly, they already have a fully prerigged animation set, unlike the Drakthyr who seem to be reusing theirs.

Bro.. that is not how they looked in the gameplay preview. In fact, the females weren't shown at all (if I recall correctly...) they were shown a bit later and looked much better than this atrocity.

Whatever happens with the most recent pics, the Alex poster and logo, as well as the name, are basically confirmed. This is because the font on the Alex poster has the same new font that they are now using on their twitter posts. The Alex poster leaked on the 2nd, the first twitter post was on the 12th. There is no way a fake leaker would have known about the font change 10+ days in advance. Unless it's all an elaborate ruse, but, you know, occam's razor and all that.

It will be dragons, how remains to be seen.

Really hoping the Dragon Isles either aren't what they sound like (just a continent full of dragony stuff) or are just one location being added (like if it's just a zone, or if Lordaeron/Quel'thalas really are getting updates too), because the Dragon Isles overall don't sound like anything we haven't seen before a million times.

My bad, that's the wrong model. But doesn't that just add credibility to my statement that Blizzard wouldn't show something as unfinished, janky and error-ridden as the Drakthyr if this model wasn't even good enough by then, whilst also being fully prerigged with no serious, crippling model errors?

OH WAIT, aren't new races also synonymous with unique background locations, like shouldn't we be seeing dragon Isle in the background on the character select screen?

It's pre-alpha. That's one of the last things you would even think about in pre-alpha.

They also cut a lot of the UI on the right for some reason? Can't bother to fake the sliders and icons there?

I had an idea a few hundred pages back of a fire dragon healing spec that worked similar to a reverse disc priest. Instead of shields it would be healing debt as your flames keep them alive but burn at the same time so you get into a gameplay style of cauterize heal for spikes and then focusing on turning that flame into them for the heal.

That probably sounds weird but it works in my head.

Its taken me 6.5 hours to go from 30 pages behind to 9 behind.
