Generally, that's how real leaks work. People probably ought to keep that in mind whenever they start congregating around someone. The fact that the poster proceeded to bother to argue against the perceived nitpicking and mock it is pretty evident that they were making things up, because every confirmed leak thus far has been by a throwaway account created specifically to post it who stopped posting after they posted their leak.

Yup. This is the way it's supposed to be. It's information to be shared, not some silly attempt by someone to turn themselves into the main character for a few hours.

That's why I hope to God the Scaleface stuff isn't legitimate, not even getting into how bad the dragon looks. The last thing we need is for this nonsense to be what 2024 looks like for several months because people get some cute ideas and encouraged by it. Imagine this last season but "solve these 12 riddles to read my shitty fanfic."

Isn't it a given that they predate the Kirin'tor when you are talking about something that predates the Old Gods arriving on Azeroth? Also pretty sure if the Dragons were around at that time they would have become servants of the Old Gods just as the Elementals did. Which means none of what you said is true or Blizzard is ignoring almost all of their existing lore for some reason.

Yeah, I think I remember that Azeroth was still in its primal stage with elementals completely unbalanced when the Old Gods arrived. I don't think there was life yet on the planet, at that point.

"Minor pixel errors" is different from "obvious model errors". This is on a 3d, modeling level. This can't be excused away with image errors.

Secondly, I'm not saying it's a "Scalie conspiracy". I'm saying it does possibly originate from some kind of Scalie modeler because the face looks exactly like something you'd expect from them.

You can't actually look at the image in high enough quality to tell what isn't an error. Just wait and see. Or just repeat the classic MMO-C moves.

On Azeroth, perhaps. But arcane magic is just a manifestation of the primal force of Order. Titans had magic long before anything lived on Azeroth and, as I said earlier, before they had discovered Azeroth.

Edit P.S.: And as someone pointed out after me, all primal forces have their own forms of magic. All of which surely existed long, long before Night Elves or Trolls.

I really think this is going to be the undercover Order cosmic force expansion. It will start out in the Dragon Isles but lead into titan stuff, maybe even going to Elunaria in the last patch (and jumping off to a life expansion from there). Dragons and titans go hand in hand, it makes sense for a dragon expansion to feature titans, arcane, and Order. More like Legion, less like Shadowlands.

And again, all the clipping can be explained away. It's such a strange thing to focus on when this is very likely something players were not ever meant to see.

Let's go ahead and assume the mesh errors—the one on the legs and the one with the wings and the error with the wings. Why are the heads so much smaller than Blizzard heads usually are? Why are the wings inexplicably translucent? Why are they, a race that is a full race and not an allied race using preexisting animations?

It was so hilarious watching people debunk that. So many were convinced it was the body from some character in a fighting game with the lich king helm photoshopped on top.

The entire time I just kept thinking, "no, it's pretty obviously real."

Not immediately excited by the talent tree tbh. Druid and Resto points implies spec locking still exists. Not as customisable as it might first appear.

The head is what I thought was inconsistent. It's too small and looks too soft. The rest of it is cobbled together. As for the wings, I don't see how a fluke in the geometry of the model could feasibly cause clipping through the chest. I especially don't see how something that's not a composite mesh would clip through at the base. This is not comparable to a glow or texture failing to load. Plus, this would be far less serious if it were only one or two of the nine issues I pointed out.

"soft" is another one of those things that is impossible to tell in a pixelated mess of a screenshot.

Also, no, it's really not that small.



All sorts of crazy shit happens in test builds of character creation screens. Weird clipping is not some miraculous thing. Also most of your "nine issues" are basically just "there's some weird artifacting here" which again, is impossible to differentiate from just shitty picture quality.
