I think it's that race and class are just one and the same, like Scaleface hinted at in the beginning. Only Drac'thyr can be Evokers, and Evoker is the only class Drac'thyr can be. Like Beornings in LOTRO.

Probably because when you have Undead, Tauren, Pandas and whatnot, just playing human with pointy ears is rather boring. The option to have either is great, but more options the better. More monsters and more "Human but x"

Imagine being able to play minotaurs, werewolves, orcs, space aliens, zombies, jamaican/african trolls, Beards with legs(dwarf), and only playing skinny knife ears
