Also, you know me. I'm not really a big fan of current wow (current being everything post mop). And I'm not a huge fan of dragons.
But after two bad expansion in a row and the lawsuit Blizzard needs a reset. Like Kylo Ren: Let the past die. Kill it, if you have to.

We have a logo revamps, a new talent system and a UI overhaul. Perhaps even a few redid zones. Dragonflight might be exactly what Blizzard needs.
Provided they don't fuck up the story and/or the patch cadence too much.

Because the raytracing system in Shadowlands hasn't been reverse engineered and backported to any current client bases for private servers. The tech isn't available, yet, on any private server infrastructure.

well the reply I got from a person who is known to troll sometimes was affirmative for the race and later last night I asked about the healing fire spec and got the answer "yes lol" so I take it with a grain of salt xD

I read this sentence with such hope and optimism and was crushed by the latter half.

Something like that. The dragon race can be customizable, but the only class option is Envoker.

If there's a new race and class, I hope it's not like the Beornings from LOTRO. I want more race-class combinations with an expac and a single race-class combo doesn't personally feel satisfactory

Their choice with Monks and the unlocking of DKs make it clear that won't happen. DH are elf-specific because their lore is entirely built around being Night Elves and the group of Kael's forces who went into training under Illidan in Outland (Yes, yes, there's demon hunter 'like' other groups, and groups that could have learned).

It's unlikely some essentially brand new class would be given racial restrictions. They want lots of people to be able to play it.

I'm pretty sure you did a fake leak in the past and this sounds pretty absurd, I don't believe it. Also your forgot a comma, so it's obviously wrong.

Something that just struck me. Dragonflight seems to be a spiritual successor to MoP. New continent we don't know much about, new neutral race, new class tied to that race and continent. It would be fitting if the new class is Evoker. There are Scarlet Evokers in the Scarlet dungeons, just like there were Scarlet Monks in the Scarlet dungeons in classic. Mop revamped the Scarlet dungeons, so if DF is a spiritual successor to MoP, then it makes sense to have revamped scarlet dungeons again.

I looked at the leaked logo and noticed something interesting...


The font used for the word "World" isn't the same as the one from all of the precedent logos. So I checked the new "flat" logo which appeared with SL (you can see it on the warcraft youtube thumbnails) and it is this one. If it was a fake leak made by a fan, it should have the old font because it's easier to work with the existing logo. Plus, it would look "normal" and not "special".
