If that's the route they wanted to take then it would been better to just make tied to a class only and give them a bunch of customizations that mirror Alex, Ysera, Kalec etc. I assume that's the fantasy most people are after at this point.

Nah, Tinkers don't share any abilities or concepts with either of those classes.

And DHs were impossible until Warlocks lost Metamorphosis. I doubt Blizzard wants to repeat that mistake by bringing out a class that begins removing abilities from the Mage and Druid classes.

those horns seem familiar though I don't know where to place it, the hair looks to me to have that fan project quality and the robes seem more venthyr than anything

Thing is, that has been leaked above. It has an Au Ra form that is “the Aspects” race and the a dragon form to keep it from being just a human/elf.

They are popular based on strength of concept and their lore character. However, many people don't want more classes BECAUSE of what happened when Demon Hunters entered WoW.

I think those horns are unique, it doesn't look like any DH ones to me.

That is a WoW concept. It being an NPC (with HotS abilities) is irrelevant.

It looks to be customizable but not sure about fully playable. We haven’t seen one with a weapon yet.
