I'd be okay with that goofy dragon thing if it's kinda like Metamorphosis, but gameplay hopefully more than just a cooldown. Resource Management where you can toggle dragon form to consume the resource for burst or something like that would be sick. But I don't want to be stuck in that form forever.

Talents and UI are semi-permanent, in that players understand that at some point they will be removed or significantly changed.

Classes and races are permanent, in that they will only be slightly changed over time. In this case, compared to the alternative which players have known and interacted with for decades, a Dracthyr race and an Evoker are huge unknowns and massive risks for Blizzard. I simply find such a move unlikely when they have sure-bet alternatives that accomplish the EXACT same thing.
