Hmmm, interesting. Couldn't find the 9.0 speculation thread, but the BfA hype thread was way under 2400 when the reveal hit. Granted we started with 9.x so that is a bit of cheat, but still nice work everyone.

I linked page 1360 because it was on November 1st, same day as the announcement but just prior. So, some pages after this is when Shadowlands was announced I believe.

So, maybe somewhere around 1400 pages were achieved between 2019-07-31 and 2019-11-01


That's 1400-something pages in 93 days.


Meanwhile, this thread has been up since 2020-11-20.

That's 2500-something pages in 515 days.

Undermine is definitely gonna happen at some point, but I'm afraid it will be just a tiny patch zone. Tel'Abim will probably meet the same fate. But I guess that's still better than getting nothing at all.

Don't know about Tel'Abim but it conjures up Arabian nights vibes with the name for me. A good way to introduce a more ethnic human society. Of course, as I've said I know nothing about it.

Doesn't seem like a numerical surprise to me, On of them clearly went up when it was a good time for discussion to start, it looks like from that date, the 10.0 Thread was essentially up for five times the time, which would've put it somewhere very early after the Shadowlands release. The thread was out of season for probably 70% of it's runtime.

The 2019 thread grew much faster than this then. That's like, what, 15 pages a day for the 9.0 thread? And only about 5 pages per day (on average) for this thread. But that's just because this thread has been up for soooooooo long.
