A leak mentioned the game was going to launch November 2022 so it may be possible that there is a secret Alpha going on right now and some of these leaks are coming from that rather then official material from Blizzard.

They've already committed to another season of shadowlands, given Morgan days comments on season length we have 4-6 months left of 9. 2, and then 6-8 for the next season.

Means it won't release before q2 2023, most likely q3 in tike for thanksgiving and holidays to boost sales.

That sucks. But if it makes you feel better, a lot of people will be missing the reveal since they'll be at work (since it's a weekday). I know my brother won't be able to watch it at all, and a few others in this thread were saying the same a few days ago.

Buuuuuut if they stall a lot and show off Wrath Classic before 10.0's reveal, there's a small chance you might make it back in time. At least for some of the panels that will come after the trailers.

I doubt it just due to the preorders which were found. If they do do that… shadowlands has no life left at all. I can’t imagine many sticking around for the next announcement.

He did say it was the general length of a season and not that every season would last that long. Blizzard is trying new things out for Season 4 so it is entirely possible it won't be as long as a normal season. November does seem unlikely but it is still possible.
