lmao yeah. the life-support patch with cross faction and bringing back old raids and dungeons basically confirms the next xpac is coming mid next year at the very earliest

I mean you dont have to look to that. The gap between the last patch and the next xpac is always big. It's always the case.

Assuming it's legit, and it does look legit, it's absolutely reusing the female Metamorphosis rig.



So it's very unlikely that it's rigged to be geared beyond weapons. And the style of armor that's already on it looks like the kind that's baked into the model via geosets, like with other NPC races.

Given that they're reusing a rig that's associated with an iconic transformation for the Demon Hunter class, I kinda doubt they'd be using it as a transformation for a new racial or class ability. So I'm guessing it's probably just a new dragonkin type that will be appearing in the expansion as NPCs.

ofc. as usual since blizzcon was cancelled, the substantial info will come from streamer interviews. I expect the trailer to be super vague and dry like the 9.2 announcement

Agreed, ZM and 9.2 have gotten more hate than they deserve. Its not perfect but it is pretty good

Yup. I've been saying the same thing since the worse-looking leak of this dragon... thing... came out. If it's true, that's peak laziness from Blizzard; shipping a new race as a big expansion feature and they can't even be bothered to make new animations anymore? No thanks.

Why would that dragon character creation not use the updated UI and overall character screen? but the old one.
