Honestly if thats truly the Evoker Tier Set I am not playing anything else and just basking in its glorious Deathwing-esque glory.

Here you can see very clearly they fly on demand in combat.

Hence also the idle animation when youre not casting during that.

I bet its a CD "Flap for 15 seconds for increased damage" or yadda yadda.

Okay, hype rising. Those abilities are exactly what I wanted for the dragon class. Ion even mentions Flame Buffet, which is Alexstraza’s ability from HotS. I also saw Wing Flap and Abundance. I can understand that they went with slimmer dragon forms for performance reasons.

Pretty much what I thought. I think it's fairly clear what's what.

I do think they're kind of clear when looked at but not as obvious as they should be if you saw something running at you in game. Be the usual things of we'll get used to it .

Well, your first big mistake is not even figuring out the 4 colors are the armor types.

I'm honestly 90% sure they said, in the presentation, that there where 2 healer specs. 1 with green and 1 with yellow dragonflight specs.

No they said Red and Blue together formed Devastation as a DPS spec (why the Life dragons are DPS is beyond me) and Green and Bronze together are the healers. Green sounds like it’s more HOTs and Bronze is more quick heals, but both are just different colored spells for the same spec.

Meanwhile black is completely absent except as baseline shared abilities I guess. Still hoping for a tanking spec in 10.X but doubt it.

They clearly aren't. The monk and DH are obvious and they're different colours.

It's already been confirmed that the Dracthyr can fly using their wings and utilize the new Dragonriding experience / flight style.

They said there were only 2 specs. Devastation and Preservation. It also says this on the Dragonflight website under the Dracthyr/Evoker section, 'Specialization' tab.

I think their calculus is that there’s too many tanks, and too many melee dps. Makes sense to restrict to two specs I guess.

it seems odd that they dont get a third spec when its literally right there for the taking with the black dragonflight and tanking(or another dps spec)

They said there were two specs. One is called Preservation. I have no idea what the other spec is called.

The quote is, "So, their damage-dealing specialization - their first of two - Devastation [...]" You can take that either way, unfortunately. Either the first of two damage specializations or first of two specializations as a whole. But yeah, probably better to err on the side of caution and default with the less generous interpretation.

Devastation the dps spec - focuses on red (this is blasphemy) and blue flight magic
Preservation the healing spec - focuses on green and bronze flight magic

Yeah, I think that flying attack that razes the ground is from Deathwing HotS as well.

I wonder if they’re going to use any of Chromie HotS abilities for the healing spec.

They are bringing back and overhauling the renown system too, they didn't mention it in the deep dive for some reason.
