Sure, but this allows a lot of specs. You could have a spec for different niche use cases. Do you want a spec just for this one dungeon? Bingo. Do you need a spec for soloing hard rares in the world? Bingo. It allows a lot more play styles than the current talents.

Having to talent into Starfire or Rake just sounds absolutely stupid to me.

In fact, it sounds to me we have even more basic ability pruning ahead again.

If there's a revamp, sure. It depends on if the next expansion is a revamp or not.

Can't believe the leaks were real. I'm hoping the talent tree rework spices up the game a little. I'm not a fan of the new race and I'm really disappointed it's just for one class lol. Here is to hoping they allow you to stay in your human form for combat. I'd rather not be a scalesona

Not sure where you got those from. The monk is clearly one of the Earth set.

The biggest unknown for me are talents. I still member how they were starting to trim the trees since Cata, and now they double down on WotLK size with two huge ones for each spec.

It sounds off to me as well, this might aswell just be another example of smoke and mirrors. You feel like you costumize more, but in reality you gained 1 or 2 new passives/active abillities.

I mean.. i don't see it happening, drastic things like Frost dks now can also have more pets (breaking unholys niche) or a mage using fire breath as frost spec just sounds stupid to me.. that is not fun at all. I hope we are still looking at cool spec specific stuff. I rather see a new abillity like fking firestorm for fire mages then fire mages can now summon water elemental, BUT you get a glyph to make him with fire -.-

That's what I was thinking, yeah. That gives me hope that evokers will get at least some armors that will show up on their transformations.

It certainly feels that way doesn’t it? If they were going two flights a spec, why not Black/Storm for Tanking?

Don’t see why the dragon people can’t be basic, non-lore related classes like warriors, rogues, hunters, mages

They have an idle flapping animation, so I assume they have a running wild flight form that can be used in old content.

its the only part about the reveal so far that left me a bit baffled.

I dont understand how they can have an actual design team that cant come up with 3 specs for a class - same with DH.

This surprised me personally.
Because they’re missing out on potential race change/boost money.
