Really? I'd say 7.2 was the weakest point in Legion. I guess you still run Nighthold and also had Mage Tower but the mount campaigns were far weaker than the class hall campaigns in terms of lore and impact (and a third of the class hall campaigns were already weak to begin with) and Broken Shore is one of the worst mid xpac zones, imo only better than Korthia. Cathedral was meh and then ToS . . . I am sorry but I found ToS mediocre at best.

Black is featured in the base abilities, seemingly. They've said repeatedly all 5 flights are present in the kit. As a Dragonsworn stan, who never believed anything like it would happen, I could not be more delighted.

    Also, on topic:

Not to rub anything in people's faces, but this whole thing played out just like it always does. Shocker.

We’ll see if WoW survives until 11.0 for it to be worth it.
I‘ve heard this for 10.0 already. It‘s major copium if we’re honest.

I hate this Presentation style, the Information Vacuum it leaves behind is just damaging for PR and Marketing while also just leading to widespread panic. I genuinely can't stress how much I loathe this direction from the Marketing Department.

Thankfully Swolinka will be talking with Bajheera in 2 hours and 20 minutes for PVP. So there's that I guess.

Anyways, I can see 11.0 being good with this expansion as a stepping stone. I kind of didn't have much expectation once I realized the Production Pipeline and Company was on fire with high attrition rate and well this reveal showcased that pretty clearly.
I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

I honestly would love if xpacs could be less front loaded. Add a lot more questing as the expac goes on.

I was disappointed we didn’t get a “features overview trailer” like usual.

Surely they had enough to make one not feel empty with everything they’re adding.

You clearly never played the version of Legion where you spent weeks, if not months, or even several patches trying in vain to get your best Legiondary, or worse still your best and second best.
Nor for that matter 7.2, which still holds the title of worst attempt at a storyline a patch has ever attempted to conjure up.

M+ was awful until they fixed the first version of the keystone system. Grinding AP was absolutely horrendous, and made even worse if you attempted to gear a different spec, or worse an alt. The first raid was far too easy, so everyone just sat around waiting for Nighthold.

Legion had loads of problems, but we forgive it now because by the end it had fixed them, and BfA was worse than the end result. This is how pretty much every expansion ever has worked.

Seems unlikely as demon hunters are still locked to only elves.
Death knights were opened up to new races and received a new eye glow i think?

Beyond general race specific character model updates, no hero class added to the game has received additional and class specific customization.

I know people hate the phrase but man, they have so many rose-tinted Glasses about Legion specifically.

Spec focused Class Design (which was horrible, no toggleable Shadow Form, no Traps as a HUNTER!, etc.), random Legendary Drops, the general on-going pruning from the Class to Spec focus. Artifact and Aspect Power grind, sheesh.

It was freaking horrible. I am still surprised its ranking as high as it is for so many for some reason.

Dryads and Satyrs both in Legion.

Dragonspawn will probably get it done in DF.

I'm sure we will be filling out bars or reps for endgame grind, along with the other normal raids and m+. I don't think we need to have something Torgast and the maw in Dragonflight.

I assume the dragon customization will have a lot of grindy bits. Its great to know we will don't have to grind endgame for player powers, i.e artifacts, soulbinds, etc.

    Speaking of.

I noticed of the dyrads had a kneeling animation. Is that new or has it always been there.

The spec focus was a thing I hated having played a hunter since the year dot it was irking to lose abilities.

I played Legion from launch on and yes, there were issues and complaints, but it rarely mattered because we were overwhelmed with content. There was so much stuff to do and what we’ve got that the issues were just overshadowed.

Legion was received way better than BfA and Shadowlands and there’s a reason for that. Even with all the issues, the expansion was just great from certain aspects. Something that can be said about BfA and SL maybe, but definitely not in that regard. Legion just covered up its issues way better. Did it work? Absolutely.

I think the dragon race needs major updates and if they actually put some effort into it it can look really good. Give the player the option to choose whatever humanoid race they want (visage). Make the scales an actual scales and not body paint. Give them more aspect customization options (similar to how Alexstrasza's hair and horns look). If they do update the race and make it look good the expansion might have a chance because right now the only cool thing about it is the new continent and the new updated (unplayable) races that inhabit it.
