    its just a poor idea
Why do I feel like their conversation went the other way around? It wasn't "Dragons don't fit our other Classes" it was "Our other races don't fit Dragons" thus they invented Dracthyr and didn't think them through because it was just a vehicle to deliver Dragon Class.

Lorewise it doesn't make sense for them to be other classes than Evoker. Not in 10.0 at least.

I honstly think Dracthyr has been floating around Blizzard for awhile.

    This is a picture of Wrathion from Hearthstone. He resembles a Drachtyr;

tbh I think you can find something in like How To Train Your Dragon (whatever the number is)
but yeah, lots of wow devs do play FFXIV and I wouldn't be surprised if it was inspired by it, but the context is something else entirely
and that's it, people are claiming that there are a lot of things like Dragonflight is a copy of Heavensward, the use of "sundering" and "watchers" but those ones we know are bull****

Playable Pandaren are from the Wandering Isle, not Pandaria.

Kul Tiras + Zandalar was actually one of the biggest continents added to date.

So weird thing. Apparently that Watcher from the trailer is important because in, of all things, the alt code of the gif of him they posted on Twitter he's named.

They should learn by now not to create limiting lore like that. I dunno.
They write the story they want, i can't blame them for that. Personnally i would like for the Drachtyr to be gnomes as alternate form. But i can totally understand their decision of restriction class+race combo. Sometimes when you write/create something the initial "cool" factor is the only thing you think of and you create lore/gampleay to reflect that cool factor.

it neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeds to be an entirely new skeletal/muscular/animation rig
    from the fucking ground up
all of it, everything, all the scales, hookups, tattoos, wings, patterns, hair, eye, all of it

they, so far, dont look like badass dragons, they look like drag queen cosplayers

Honestly in terms of the entire reveal the only downside to me is the race and class but it’s not saying that it’s still not bad. The trailer threw me at first because stone boi but I’m so hyped because of the Greek style. The zones look good, the armor is awesome, dragon riding is the best iteration of flight, profession revamp is aces, talent trees look interesting, it just seems like conceptually it’s a great upgrade (we will get maybe half of what we saw)

Monks started at lvl 1. Alliance/Horde discover the Wandering Isle* and they started to train new Pandarens.

    *fixed my mistake.

Doesn't surprise me that the Watcher is important and named at all. They put a lot of energy into rendering him and giving him a 5 minute arc.

A very brief adaptation of WALL-E was not on anyone's bingo card.

Pretty sure it was the pandarens form the wandering isle that joined the factions and trained new monks, they could already be tons of classes without ally/horde

Oh right from Wandering Isle. Horde/Alliance trainer trained new Pandaren in old classes, Pandarens were in other races' starting zones to train them to be monks.
Ex. you start in Elwynn Forest as a human monk. but you start in the Wandering Isle as a Pandaren Warrior.

But the fact you start at lvl 1 in both cases means it's new recruits. So it can happen at the same time as the expac taking place.
But take DK for example, only the races that were present during the DK starting zone made sence to be DKs. They added new races to the DK later no problem.
