Well if Scaleface is correct then the expansion is supposed to launch in November so beta should be soon. But lack of pre-order and "alpha soon" during the stream seems to cast that into doubt. Interestingly a e-mail I got earlier had "prepurchase" as part of the url when clicking on a link.

So no body type, no female/male different dragon form, no other races with painted at least scales etc, no armor on the dragon, forced to be in dragon form to fight.

Do you create a character or a hero in MOBA with different skin?

His whole thing was that the dragons that would become the aspects opposed him in prehistory. It would make sense that there are dragons in a prehistoric place that still worship him.

The one guy on the reveal stream also seemed to have to catch himself on saying "And an Alpha which starrrttsssssss-- soon." I wonder if they already have a date in mind for Alpha and Pre-Orders but decided to hold it back in case shits hits the fan so they don't have to pull a Shadowlands again and delay it once then release it clearly in an unready state.

Man this thread. I don't get it. A lot, and I mean, 95% of the criticisms of Shadowlands were completely valid. People wanting simpler times back, people not wanting to deal with cosmic disco war stuff. People wanting a revamp to the super tired and clearly broken core systems, and a hard pivot away from borrowed power. This Expac is looking to do all of that, like a proper revamp of core systems and bringing life into the world through the profession systems encouraging more player to player interaction. Now, while 10.0 seems to be adressing a lot (but not all of course) of the players feedback over the last two expansions. Now it is "lazy" and "not exciting". When in truth redoing all these systems is a big undertaking. I don't know, I know the whole community won't be satisfied no matter what, and I know a lot of people wanted Housing of some sort. But we are getting huge things we asked for for in some cases over a DECADE, yet the same toxicity remains. agh.

Yeah, I think they went with a slender body type because it's ranged and healing. That said, I do hope they add body options. I could see someone wanting to play a bulkier dragon.

Given that they went on and on about customization, I can't believe they wouldn't include that option.

Anyway everyone having good points aside, real reason I peeked back in here.

I realized that the construction site in Stormwind appears to be related to the Explorer's League, given that one quest mentions some Dwarf(ves?) that went off on and expedition and left her to deal with Stormwind.

Much as we all hoped it was teasing a revamp, seems probable it's just the areas where we'll start our expedition to the Dragon Isles. Maybe a spot in SW/ORG where we can customize our Mount, too.

The side view of the blue one is really just triggering that memory in my head everytime I look at them I can’t help but thinking of the meteor at the start of that movie and… whatever else happened IDK it’s been two decades since I saw it lol.

Meh a return to daily quests, one of the single most boring aspects of wow quests.

Daily Quests sucks, this should've been a lesson learned in Mists of Pandaria, since then we never had way too many Daily Quests to do, WOD introduced a single Daily Quest, which didn't work, then Legion introduced World Quests, which are awesome, but in BFA they started adding Daily Quests for some reason, and in Shadowlands they made World Quests worse and added even more dailies, especially in Maw/Korthia.

I really don't understand why they love Daily Quests so much...

Anyway, an expansion without borrowed power with dailies would be better than Shadowlands/BFA since I consider Mists of Pandaria which had many dailies quests better than these last expansions.

This I agree with, while we haven't seen a lot of gameplay of the Dracthyr, I do hope they retain at least a semblance of the armor of the humanoid form. Also, I do wish we could be the Bulky dragon bois. I saw a few as guards during the zone fly throughs, and I wanna be the Jacked Dragon Boiz. Dracthyr just seem a TAD to slender for me.
