And what if people want "manly men"...? Do you.... have some problem with people preference?? sheesh, thats some weird hill to die on buddy, we respect all people equally
In fact, i see no reason why a bulky dragon should not be an option for the females as well, Sexual dimorphism sometimes make the females bigger than the male.
I for once, believe everyone should be able to chose their preference, im not wanting to remove the slender option.

Mythbusters, lmao
And, correct me if im wrong, but those dragon twxtures look a lot to me like the zandalar druid forms and the dinos in zandalar
Coincidence?

Exactly this. Most suggestions seem to be pushing for an additional, bulkier body type as an option, not the removal of the slender one.
And I also think which body type you choose should be completely independent of your character's gender.
Want to play a female humanoid with a bulky dragon form? Or a male with a slender one? People should be allowed to do that.

Some of them do look pretty familiar, especially the ones with ankylodon textures on their thighs. But it's hard to say if it's just similar or straight-up the same exact texture reused; would have to compare them more directly to make sure.
So they already confirmed that Dracthyr will get more customizations:

Can the people now stop hating for nothing? The only possible possible concern would be if dragonriding wouldn't have accountwide customization unlocks and if you couldn't customize your dragons for each character, but I have hopes that NewBlizzard wouldn't do that lol.
I just read it this morning, it's one of the wowhead interviews on the front page.
We have 51 talent points at level 60 and 61 at level 70.
How many talent points do you get, and how do you get them?
Talent points are obtained by gaining character levels. You gain one point every level, alternating between a talent point for your class tree, and your spec tree. In the pre-patch, at level 60, you will have a total of 51 talent points to spend, with 26 in your class, and 25 in your spec tree. When you reach the maximum level of 70 in Dragonflight, you will have 61 total talent points to spend, with 31 in your class tree and 30 in your spec tree.

They still look corny and pretty cringe in dragon form, I don't know if this changes anything. Bulkier option? Good. But that's just one of the many issues with the new race.
_______
Teal for Evoker seems like a bad choice. It really looks like a Monk out of range. Something blackish or reddish would have worked better, imho.

MAGA - Make Alliance Great Again
No...? this still don't address the other problems? and it was not for nothing?
1- Saying they have other customizations don't show how big the torso will be, how big it will be, they even said its just "slightly"
2- They didn't say if you can turn into other races as visage form/humanoid form, like how you are supposed to.
3- You still can't use your own armor on the dragon form like worgens, you will have some pre-determined armor that you can change in the barber, its a glorified druid form.
Until those 3 things aren't fixed there will be plenty of things to complain about it

Until we see visible changes made to improve the model, we should keep raising our voices on this matter. Besides, we've already seen the bulky body type in the previews and it's quite frankly a stretch to even call it toned.
Beyond the body types, there are other issues with the model as well that can't be solved with "more customization options", such as their tiny heads, long snake necks, and limited number of humanoid forms to turn into. These are things that need to be fixed.
LoL! People speculating on the name would be somebody instead of nobody, right?
I can’t believe how quickly people forget around here. Redshirtguy even tweeted about it because people here on MMOC were speculating that it was Mage 2.0. Here’s Asmongold talking about it. Don’t worry, it’s the very beginning of the video.
And yeah, I called BS on that.

I would rather stick my head into a nest of angry spiders than watch even a second of that video, thanks Teriz. Next time post some wholesome content rather than this, ok?

The only thing I agree with are the other humanoid forms, but who is to say that we won't get more and the 2 shown are just the ones that are already finished?
I think legion was his first expansion but right now they are listening
We need more communication than what we have been getting and if what we saw is what we get I’ll be happy. They are literally going back on the “we can’t keep adding stuff” they are designing content with flying in mind instead of seeing flight as a burden. They are giving us actual choice instead of just time gates. They are actually working on making professions meaningful.
Good enough communication and we will be set
Well, let's just say that after all these years of playing the game and being disappointed time after time, I'm no longer the type to sit silently and merely hope Blizzard already did something I only thought about in my head. If there are more humanoid forms to choose from, I'll believe it when I see it.
Yeah, also the whole game feels much more like a classic rpg instead of a lobby game! Talent trees, lots of customizations including your dragon, meaningful professions including profession gear (and crafting gear thats on the level of mythic raids which is awesome as well!). It's a great step in the right direction, only a HD revamp of Kalimdor/EK/Northrend and Housing is missing and the game would be perfect.
So according to Ion in the hazle interview, he hopes to get some of the talent calculators out before Alpha even stats so that they can start getting feedback really early on them. I think that's a great idea. More of this blizzard. Bring back Dev Watercoolers and Artcraft posts.
“People guessed the name that was reminiscent of mobs in the game that have mage and shaman abilities”
Between the class name being guessed and the announcement you were the only one saying “no it can’t be evoker because it would overlap with the arcane mage and ruin it so it has to be a big dragon”
I think they are going to add a bit more to account wide than before tbh. I had some initial pushback against accountwide reps, but if they expand the paragon system with even more rewards, I could see it feeling pretty good earning account wide paragon progress. A person with 3 max level chars might earn 2 paragon boxes a week for example.

Thats a good point. They might want to either change the color, or add a new out of range effect.

Asmongold isn't that toxic anymore tbh. How long has it been since you watched him?

IM super excited about the idea of unreachable treasures, rares, and other content that you cant reach until you level up dragon riding. Its going to be really cool if they do it right.
Again, it was because the general consensus here was that it was going to be a new arcane class that was going to cannibalize mages.
And yes, I was the only one saying that the new class was going to be based on the HotS dragons. I also predicted in my dragon class concepts that the new class would also be the new race. I was correct, they were wrong.
