You know I'd kinda like to see them do the "fighting on the back of a dragon" concept again from Spine of Deathwing, just without the seemingly constant insta-death mechanics.
Could be cool to be fighting Galakrond as he's flying around the Dragon Isles, or toward something (Silithus? Tyr Hold?).
FFXIV - Maduin (Dynamis DC)
Gimmicky bosses are never fun, so if they do incorporate dragon riding into a raid I hope it's just for traversal. Like you dive bomb down a cavern with the boys to get to the next boss.
Since he is the result of an experiment the raid could just be us fighting "normal size" creatures as we slowly undo the experiment. The entire time we have to avoid being squished by his size that slowly shrinks over the course of the fight until he is just a normal proto-drake.
"Man is his own star. His acts are his angels, good or ill, While his fatal shadows walk silently beside him."-Rhyme of the Primeval Paradine AFC 54
You know a community is bad when moderators lock a thread because "...this isnt the place to talk about it either seeing as it will get trolled..."
I hope Murozond appears as a last boss in the final raid and transports us back to pre-sundering Azeroth. Once there we can stop the Sundering from ever happening for the expansion after Dragonflight. I would like that. I know....totally out of no where but that was going through my mind since the Dragonflight announcement happened.
The main thing that made Spine of Deathwing annoying was having to rotate to avoid flying off. If we don't have to deal with something like that, I'm fine with it.

I forgot where I heard it in all the interviews, or articles, but somebody did mention infinite dragonflight will have a part in the expansion.
Yeah tat's what I mean by constant insta-death mechanics. That and the very strict timers for the plates or you'll lose to enrage.
Just give us a boss fight on a dragon's back. Hell Galakrond is so big you could have an entire LFR wing on his back, fighting our way up to his head for the final boss.
FFXIV - Maduin (Dynamis DC)
ROFL, he is that big that they could make entire raid just his body. That would be actually a really cool idea. You move in and out of his massive bod, fight mutations/servants just to get to his head/heart in the end. Bone wing, blood wing, mutations wing, outside wing etc.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

Let's hope that with all the new wings everywhere, they give DH new wings skins...
I just think there is a specific fantasy in fighting a huge creature. Question is how to do it justice. Imagine if for instance we fight Galakrond while using Dragonriding. Not as vehicle combat; we'd still be using our abilities. Just instead of our movement skills we use the dragons.
I can see it like this:
- 10.0 Intro raid, finishing up Dragon Isle zone story
- 10.1 Furthering general Dragonflight story. End boss of the raid is whatever caused the blue shit in the water. It causes nozdormu to become murozond
- 10.2 Caverns of time raid. We try to prevent Nozdormu from becoming infinite. At the end boss (whoever that could be) Murozond pops up and transports us back in time pre sundering 'permanently' 10.000 years ago.
- 10.3 Few zones, like argus in the pre-sundering world. The raid has us trying to get back to the present. Last boss is Murozond. After his defeat we will be victorious. We will return to the present, only to find out we overshot and are actually 5-10 years in the future..... World revamp.
