Who were the two major Darkspear troll characters after Vol'jin died exactly? Rokhan and who?

That isn't true at all. When Vol'jin died who were the two major trolls? Alleria or Umbric can easily die if Blizzard wants. Even if your rule of 2 is true they can easily create new lore characters to take their place, right?

We are getting a follow up with Sylvanas, and Tyrande is carrying the second ToE somewhere.
The earlier blurb from yesterday is a really good depiction of why, for a very long time, the devs never seem to be on the same page about what is actually going on in the story: Example, the comments about the sword in Silithus.

Ion: The Sword is fine. It's good the way it is. Just think of it as a part of the scenery.

Danuser: The Sword has a greater role in what is to come *w*

    The Audience: ?????

This is how it feels to engage with the lore; this is why there are so many lore arguments. Maybe for them this is what they consider a normal, engaged fandom but it's not healthy & it's not completely the fault of the fans. So when Ion talks about the future of these characters its like, do you even know? Cause it seems like Ion isn't part of creating the lore at all.

    Vanira and Master Gadrin.

If anything, Darkspear fans should have been glad that, despite Vol'jin's death, they still had 3 solid characters left to represent them.

I dread not but it is aiming that in that general direction. I could be surprised by Blizz but I think if the Light ever makes a move Turalyon will open the gates willingly.

What I prefer to do with him.....well I'm sure know one thing that I want <.<

What you people don't realize is that the Windrunners are not dying, ever.

Sylvanas didn't survive because she's popular, that's BS and nothing more, because Arthas and Garrosh were also popular and they got erased from existence.

Sylvanas survived because Danuser likes the Windrunners and the story of this ancient elven family. He was the one who wrote most of the Hunter order hall featuring Dark Rangers (Sylvanas clones) and Vereesa Windrunner and also wrote the questline for Thas'dorah, Alleria's bow, featuring both Vereesa and Sylvanas. He also wrote the Windrunner Reunion comic leading up to BfA.

Neither Alleria nor Vereesa will EVER die!

These two statements aren’t that contradictory and address different things.

Ions quote says the sword is no longer a danger to Azeroth.

Danusers is about whether the sword has a role to play in the story eventually.

Vanira has 10 lines in the entire game, of which 5 are in her Hyjal cameo. Captain Fareeya, a non-character par excellence, has more lines within just one quest of the Lightforged allied race recruitment scenario. I'm fairly sure she also has more than her and Gadrin combined, but that remains to be seen.

As for the sword, that whole argument is retarded, Ion is clearly joking. His very next sentence starts with "But no".
Dickmann's Law: As a discussion on the Lore forums becomes longer, the probability of the topic derailing to become about Sylvanas approaches 1.

Tinkers will be the next Class confirmed.

She was literally Vol'jin's second-in-command during the reclamation of the Echo Isles and the ensuing years of the Cataclysm. She fought alongside Vol'jin against the Sea witch to save the Echo Isles. How can you downplay her importance and contribution to the Darkspear people?

I mean, you aren't wrong, the Darkspear bench is so shallow and their net contribution so low that she's still like their number 4 character behind Master Gadrin. It's just that that doesn't count for much when the entire non-Vol'jin roster of the race is mogged in screentime and characterization by T'paartos.

They might not be contradictory on the most literal level, but in terms of two people talking about a fictional story, to a person asking about that story? They're complete contradictions. This is the gist of what they said when asked about the sword:

Ion: Don't worry about the sword.

    Danuser: Worry about the sword!

I'm constantly bewildered why Blizzard has these people engage directly with the audience. They have zero social skills. That complete with the corporate marketing team behind the scenes dictating how they make these announcements its the worst of both worlds: Impersonal & Corporate while also being awkward & confusing.

The stories of Alleria and Turalyon are intertwined. They are basically like yin and yang, even Alleria says it herself. There is no shadow without light. So if one dies, the other will follow.

They aren't contradictory either. They're simply talking about different things.

Danuser said it will be important in the future.

Ion said it isn't important right now.

That's not what they said. Ion's comments are explicitly "It's not important."

Except that isn't a fair summary of their comments. Danuser is saying worry about the sword later. It is amazing how people look for every little thing to twist to justify their hate, dislike, or whatever it really is.

Because it isn't important. That is how things always go with WoW. It isn't important until it is.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

There are bunch of High Elves left even after Alleria is dead.

Great catch No, I didn't think of Azshara at the time, more of Stormheim. But I can totally agree with you there
