Yes there is a delay because people are busy doing the new expansion content. However I edited my post to focus on if 10.0 systems are in place to be released the expansion can be launched instead.
Season 4 isn't about adding something new to the game but keeping existing content fresh by mixing it up a little.

You know a community is bad when moderators lock a thread because "...this isnt the place to talk about it either seeing as it will get trolled..."
I've warmed up to Dracthyr a lot this week. The news of being able to choose face shape and the possibility of future classes for them really helped.

id be 100% willing to believe Scaleface had Season 4 not been announced. I think that was probably their initial plan, but either do to some delay, wanting to give wrath more space, or giving Dragonflight more interaction time as they know they need a good xpac. Could be a combination of the above tbh.
I think its likely they wanted more time, but could release it this year if need be. Wrath was releasing so within the last month or two decided to make a season 4 and give themselves 3-6 more months to get it right.
They know the xpac needs to be good.
Also, I don't know why people think Wrath is releasing September. Did Scaleface say that? If so, I think its likely they will push it back a month or even two now that they have more dev time for Dragonflight.
My prediction is this.
Wrath Classic- Late Oct/early Nov release.
10.0 Prepatch- late Feb 2023.
Dragonflight launch-Mid March 2023.
Alleria and Turalyon are not beloved characters. The vast majority of WoW players never played WC2. The only people who would actually be familiar with their characters would be those who bought the earliest Warcraft novels. The only reason why their names kept being brought up was because "Alleria and Turalyon are missing" was a loading screen blurb for years. If it wasn't for that blurb, no one would care. And if you polled people about how their favorite Alliance characters are, you would see Varian, Anduin, Jaina, Genn rank at the top, followed by Velen, Malfurion, Tyrande, and Muradin. And then maybe Alleria and Turalyon in the third wave, nowhere near the top.
Honestly, I'd love the bulkier torso as well.

I was critical at first, but that was just my initial reaction phase that I typically go through. Sometimes I'm a little stubborn and judge too quickly as far as games are concerned. Once I get time to stew, I'm generally more receptive.
