Void elves (like Alleria and Umbric) are kind of the pinnacle of evolution and existence on Azeroth, when you think about it.
They are elves who, as we all know, are objectively the strongest and most beautiful race on Azeroth, fashioned after the image of the Titan herself via the Well of Eternity. Unlike humans, they are advanced. And unlike dwarves, gnomes, or trolls, they are supremely beautiful. They are kind of perfection incarnate.
But they are also masters of the Void, the most powerful force in Reality, who have been touched by the Void, and survived; and they have turned calamity into opportunity, by using their Void mutations to their advantage.
And so it is only logical that the strongest of the Titans, destined to overthrow the Void Lords themselves (wink wink), would look like the pinnacle of evolution imaginable on Azeroth.

Will try to dig them up, it's not in the slides.

added in 5.3 which was his point
lfd, lfr, and brawlers guild just to name a few were added mid expansion
we also had mythic dungeons though you would say that doesnt count because its not solo
we had the trove of the thunder king
argent tournament
its almost like blizzard has a habit of adding content for solo players mid expansion
To add something constructive to the discussion, we do know that there is for the first time a separate World Content team. Up until now world content was part of the quest team. We've also seen in interviews a commitment to add more events in the world. Instead of a central system, we might simply get a lot more small events all over the map. Admittedly, we'd still need a reward system to make those worthwhile. Yet at the same time we DO have such a system; professions. The moment you make professions strong, any event simply needs to drop some profession reagents to make it worthwhile.
solo gamers get dragon riding
thats just how its going to work
is it perfect? eh probably not but its waht is going to happen
are all of the solo players going to quit because they cant spend 10 minutes in torghast or 15 minutes in islands with random players?
warfronts were just lfr with a 30 minute trash pack
we dont know how any of the out world is going to work and we do know that they are looking at starting dragon riding races
you have the content
you dont like the content
and that is fine
if you want it changed i suggest you leave feedback on the blizzard sites instead of saying "OMG BLIZZ HATES SOLO PLAYERS" on a random forum that at best is seen as a meme

from the interviews it seems professions will be part of pretty much all content in terms of drops
I dont get these "there is nothing to do for solo / casual players"
They explicitly said they want to continue with the 9.2 philosophies e.g. cypher system for open world in 10.0. Thats a lot of solo content for every zone. In the asmon interview Ion said they are not happy how they catered to casual players in the last expansions to there will be a lot more to do in DF for them.
Players in WoW are notoriously fast at accepting the new stuff as the norm, and therefore not something you count as actual content.
Raids are expected, therefore it's not actually content.
M+ are expected, therefore not content.
World Quests, rares, secrets. All of it is expected, and therefore no longer content.
The world revamp dream will never die!
The problem with the world / solo content is not that there isn't any, it's that there's barely any that is relevant or engaging. World quests / callings? Yeah, no.
Zereth Mortis? I re-subbed for 9.2 because people were saying it's a great zone, but I really don't understand how anybody can like this crap. The cypher system is a grind and boring (99% of it is just buffs to Pocopo, who I don't care about) - and for what? So I can do the world quests faster?. What do you actually do in the zone? Kill rares seems to be the only thing worth doing. I already got all the energy swords and the one mount (Lupine) that seemed remotely interesting. There's no interesting events (really any events that I can see), the puzzles can be completely removed with Pocopo, no pvp-centric challenges like Battle for Nazj or the Warden towers, etc.
What else is there? Boring dailies and world quests? Mechagon and Nazjatar were infinitely more interesting than all the "end-game" zones we've had this entire expac, and even they weren't that great either. Blizzard really needs to sit down and completely rethink there world content to be more than just login, fill a bar for a weekly quest, dailies, and killing rares / finding treasures. It's tired, monotonous content that still boils down to kill x, collect y. And yes, the game can be much more than that.

So, what was Living World? A taste of 11.0?
You and me bothBetween cancer taking our guild leader 5 years ago and covid taking a couple members...our guild has died. I am alone, I do not like nor do I raid or run dungeons...my choice. I enjoy questing, gathering, exploring....no hassle, no stress....just enjoy the game, don't worry about having to be the best this or that or having the best whatever...enjoy. It's a GAME...it affects your real life in no way. Play the way you want, do what you want and that means everyone. You're no better than me and I'm no better than you.
Well, you're just being dismissive of people who think crafting is fun. I don't like current wow crafting & didn't think I'd like FFXIV crafting but I was surprised that it was much more fun than I expected.
It sounds like you just want to play a one-player rpg in that case, no, wow isn't for you.
The more I read your posts, the more I think you don't want to play WoW but FFXIV.
