On the flip side, while Gilnean Worgen are defined by their lack of control, Night Elf Worgen could be the inverse: defined by the rigid self-discipline required to use the form. With Paladins being a natural extension of that selfsame discipline.

The biggest sticking point against Darkfallen AR now is that the updated skins (Delaryn, Velonara(sp?), the other one) all seem to look similar in skin tones, which goes against the idea that it's a race with lots of options. I also DON'T think it's going to be a race with very few customization because people hugely whine about that.

Still doesn't explain the elf music and the combat sounds though. They could just be using similar skin tones because they share a similar role though (important faction-aligned dead elves).

It was weird how from the limited number of companions you could get in your class hall, we got TWO Night Elves for Paladins and yet Night Elves never got Paladins themselves.

Because Nelf paladin will only happen when there is an equivalent for Horde to add at the same time, and Forsaken have not had their opportunity yet. Also likely pushed back until a bigger expansion

Oh so it happens except when it doesn't

Name a more iconic duo than the WoW community and arbitrary "patterns".

For many years from Cata to Legion the Horde had one more combo than Alliance. The Alliance was also missing one paladin option compare to the Horde's shaman options. So your point makes no sense.

I mean, the new class-race combos give the Horde 6 more options than the Alliance. I don't know if they really care about preserving a balanced number of classes per faction anymore.

What do you mean? They don't change the skin tone of established characters. Only minor NPCs got updated skin tones when the new customization went live.

It’s not just Gilnean worgen known for a lack of control it’s all worgen with the night elfs originally being banished because of that very reason.
All I ever wanted was the truth. Remember those words as you read the ones that follow. I never set out to topple my father's kingdom of lies from a sense of misplaced pride. I never wanted to bleed the species to its marrow, reaving half the galaxy clean of human life in this bitter crusade. I never desired any of this, though I know the reasons for which it must be done. But all I ever wanted was the truth.

The Elf Music could literally be the music for an ingame cinematic and the combat sounds are obviously for Salandria. It's clearly the same VA.

That's possible. But characters without unique models have never gotten their own combat sounds before. They just use their racials.

Doing Shadowlands Cleanup. Just completed Tower Ranger today, which was the only Achievement besides Tazaveh Hard Mode that I needed for the Veilstrider FoS coming in the next patch.
Beyond that I am generally just bumming around until 9.2.5 comes out wiht more stuff to do.

Finishing out Sepulcher LFR transmog stuff (got all the Warrior set, almost done with Monk. Not really feeling the other sets much. Also got most the weapons but still aiming for Prelude to Pride and the polearm off the Jailer). Mount stuff still in ZM. Running all my alts through Spires of Arak weekly to try and get the Solar Spirehawk (of the remaining mounts that I don't have, that's honestly the only one of two that I really want right now). Got Taeshalach a few weeks ago finally so stopped running Antorus.

Almost done leveling a Dark Iron dwarf alt too so I can prep to get the weapon skins in 9.2.5.

Since Blizzard seems hellbent on not letting that Balance of Power thing work account wide for the artifacts, I may go back and do it for some of my remaining alts (did it for mage, monk, warrior, paladin). Oh and trying to get the dark shaman set for my shaman (still, damned thing won't drop for me). May try my plate alts to get the shoulders off Garrosh too, if only to have a goal.

Precisely my point. It would be interesting to get a "new brood," to whom discipline is central.

Mostly on break, aside from a few mount runs each week. I keep pondering bringing up a couple more alts to max level in prep for DF, but I find myself a bit split as to which alts to bring up with the cross-faction stuff coming in 9.2.5, so I do something else instead.
