It is funny that you got angry over a association you decided to make? I don't think you understand jokes or humor in general and are just trying to justify saying something stupidly offensive now that others didn't agree with your take.

Let's drop this rolling derail about a toy item from some time ago and real-world gender debate and return to the actual topic of the thread.
"We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." ― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
So anyways, the Winter Queen questline seems possibly related to Sylvanas freeing souls from the Maw.
I sort of wonder if the Alliance and Horde have different questlines relating to the Sylvanas / Anduin interaction or if its not faction specific like the Calia questline.
Looks like servers will come up 6PM EST on Tuesday. Sweet.
The truly interesting thing was that cross faction guilds worked for a while through a bug in the PTR and it seemed to work just fine (though it only worked for NEW guilds).
Almost everyone that I've talked to about it, is thinking that Cross-faction Guilds are planned to come soon, or in the Dragonflight launch, but Blizzard never alluded to it, Ion avoided answering it so many times, and they've stopped calling it just Cross-faction, and are now using Cross-faction Instances.
I fear, that Cross-faction Guilds are neither planned nor being worked on right now.
In 2021 when talking about cross-faction raiding "coming soon" it was mentioned how hard it is trying to keep a high-end Alliance guild together in North America or a Horde one in Oceania. So most think that cross-faction guilds are the likely conclusion. Communities being newer might make it easier to implement and a good way to test if it functions well.

Ideally I'd like guilds to become more like sub-sections so you can better organize a community. For example community X would have a raiding guild and a pvp guild. You could belong to both for easier management. Cross-faction in general is a pretty big step for Blizzard to take so it is reasonable to think they are going to take baby steps so it is easier to revert if need be. Once you pull that ripcord it will be impossible to bring a faction divide back.

I strongly believe they need to revitalize guild features. PuGing culture is not doing the social structure of the game any favors. Imo the best thing they can do is create strong incentives to join and do activities within a guild or community. I think Cata's guild features were brilliant and marred by the awful decision to add guild leveling (which was catastrophic to guilds in the game) and to a lesser extent by the fact that you can only join one guild.
Bring cosmetics and significant consumable rewards for completing guild challenges could alleviate the cost of raiding and letting people join multiple guilds would let people join large cross-faction raiding guilds/communities without having to sacrifice their social or RP guilds (or even their personal guilds).
If the hard coded nature of guilds limits what they can do with them, they could replicate guild features into communities and then just fold guilds into communities and effectively remove them.

The only thing that is in the way of Communities becoming more prominent than Guilds in 9.2.5 is the fact that only guild groups can record boss kills, so unless you've got a guild group, your raid progression will not be tracked.
If Raider.IO / Wowprogress finds any way to track Communities' progression then Cross-faction Guilds will not be needed anymore.
