I can already see the "Nelf fanbase" complaining that Night Elves had to die to make the seed, but the seed being their choice and deciding to give their lives for it makes it a bit more poignant than "Elune/Winter Queen felt bad and made a seed for them".

I like that they are keeping Winter Queen and Elune from picking mortal favorites (though Elune said they were her favorite in a cutscene).

Or why they can't just move back to Hyjal: They lived on Hyjal for 9990 years there was no good reason why they couldn't live there anymore.

While it would be a power move, a lot of people don't like the idea of living in spitting distance of Orgrimmar after the events of BFA.

The Cenarion Circle are neutral, but not the Night Elves entirely.

Curious to see which elves count. Blood and Night Elves are a given. I could see Void Elves, since at this point they're just void-touched High Elves and it's reasonable for some of the high elf rangers to want to shift over to the Alliance instead of sticking around the Forsaken with no Ranger General. Very curious if they'll just add Nightborne in there though, for the sake of parity to act as the "Night Elves" who were turned by Sylvanas and have decided to still align with the Forsaken.

I saw a post saying that Void Elves are getting it. Alliance RP will never be the same.

I'm curious to see if the darkfallen customization is just an eye color and skin, akin to the night warrior, or if it's anything more than that.

Considering that allied races include new haistyles, new accessories, heritage armor, mount, racials (flavor), I was hoping we'd get more of that rather than just 2 customization options.
At the end of the day, it's arbitrary what they decide to make AR or customization. Dark irons AR and wildhammer customization, both could be ARs, both could be customization, but they decided it that way.
Not much longer till we get the full picture I guess.

I'll be surprised if its anything more than a couple of greyish skin tones and maybe a few different shades of red eyes.

Wowhead already posted most of it sadly (Blizzard leaked most of it early in a PTR build that had some interface fixes), but videos of the new in-game scenes, quests and such will probably appear soon, yeah.

Leveling in EK is great! I liked that they will expand this to the 60!

The Forsaken clear up the blight in Lordareon, and form a new Desolate Council: Voss, Belmont, Apothecary Faranell, Dark Ranger Velonara and Calia. She is not the main leader and some other Forsaken don't trust her, though she goes into the blight to help cure it.

Night Elves get a new world tree seed made up of the Tear of Elune + the ghosts of the slain Night Elves who chose to be reborn through the seed.

Anduin and Sylvanas reconnect, he admits he enjoyed some of the possession and wants to repent, Sylvanas calls him out on believing in Free Will and they part ways.

That's it. Haven't seen the Dark Ranger quest yet.

Also Velves, Belves and Nelves get the customizations, which is a skin color and eye color. No Nightborne.

I have not seen the Alliance version of the quests, but I assume the "Dark Ranger Velves" are actually High Elf Dark Rangers defecting back to Alliance. There may not even be any lore for it but I assume that is the idea.

ya thats what I assumed too since void elves were used from a gameplay perspective to give alliance High elves,. that the Dark ranger void elves are high elf dark rangers

Though I suppose it is possible for there to be VE dark rangers if some where killed and raised by the forsaken during the war

the cutscene with Calia is hilarious. "but will they ever truly accept me?" - no, but for a different reason. can be interpreted in two ways - and because of that, reminds me of the Anduin raid cinematic.

They have her say people may think she's an Alliance plant and she isn't... and then she asks a margrave in Maldraxxus about whether or not she is actually Forsaken because she was raised by Light (and the margave says "necromancy is necromancy")

The devs are full aware of the complaints about her and they are addressed in this questline. The Forsaken will always have doubts on her Alliance ties, hence why she is not the full leader, but the margrave makes it clear that Light and Death necromancy is the same (although we don't have many examples of Light Necromancy in lore, though the quest makes it seem like any magic posessing a corpse is necromancy... so the Life Zombies in WoD may be Necromancy as well)

I can sorta the Dragonflight connections with the Tyrande cutscene cause well obvious. not liking thew ay things are going for Anduin but until I know the full picture, I won't judge too harshly. *Sigh*
