I have no idea if this was already posted. Sorry if it was. Was just thinking how Drakonids in this concept preview from Collector's Edition (Gear Store) look more interesting than Dractyhrs. Just my opinion, but I'm sure they will grow on me as well. I think most of us expected Drakonids being playable.

I'd rather have a race that's a bit more whimsical, and judging by the animations and the general look they are going for, that's what the Dracthyr will be. They seem to be the Sylvari of WoW.

We have enough edgy big brooding (haha) races.

The WoW Twitter account is doing a WotLK beta quiz throughout the day. Perhaps a bad sign for Dragonflight news, unless they're doing that on the side (forum and such).

That middle image actually makes them look good, but the cheap copy-pasting of belf males and human females for the in-game models kind of ruins the fantasy of the concept art.

I just hope we get armour sets like that ingame. They already made something similiar with the SoD mail set so fingers crossed!

Tbh, I think they just need to add a new posture - standing animation for them to make them different just a little bit.

I mean, Blizzard usually doesn't really announce when an alpha is starting. Shadowlands was an exception. At most, we get like cryptic tweets from Devs, but it's not like the WoW Twitter posts something.

We usually find out because the build goes live.

I think they will only let us test the classes in the beta , without letting us trying any raid content nor quests.

On Towelliee stream (I know, I know) I heard that they probably won't make blue post like last time and Alpha will just drop. So we are waiting for wrong thing, it will likely start with dataminable build during some night (on EU).

Probably the least interesting concept art (for the humanoid side). The dragon side is okay... if it indicates we're getting two body types.

I still want to know why they chose "blood elf male/human female" base. It should be the opposite, I feel... or at least, give us the option for "male human/female blood elf" base too.
