We'd still see something, even if it's some encrypted client being deployed for an early look, which isn't currently the case. Pack it in for now until something actually happens.

Yup. Every time there's an announcement or a release of something, there's people saying Towelliee doesn't know shit and then it gets proven that he does in fact know shit. I honestly don't understand why people keep letting their personal opinions of Towelliee distract them from the facts.

The personal opinion statement also goes for the fans who kindly forget whenever a content creator is wrong.

I don't see the Alpha going live this week, but I do see the potential of uploading files on an alpha server. Some of the most prolific streamers for WoW are in the MDI and yes, for marketing reasons, they aren't going have both of those clash. However, alpha files coming up IS possible as, again for marketing reasons, it could generate hype to get people to watch both those events without putting those streamers in an awkward position.

Seems like Stiven from Wowhead is on vacation until next week unless I'm misinterpreting his tweets. I wonder if Blizzard would push an alpha build for datamining knowing that Wowhead couldn't participate? Or would Stiven just plug in his laptop from the hotel anyways?

Just speculating, their posts obviously generate a lot of interest and so on. I'm sure Blizzard would use something like an Alpha to generate the max amount of traffic (as evidenced by the alleged NDAs?).

I would be interested to see if he gets a new model. At glance, I would say no because he just got one in 8.3 but then again Sylvanas and Anduin had several different models in SLs alone so who knows.

But definitely interested to see the new Alex and Noz humanoid models.

Most interesting takeaway is that you can equip up to 5 craftable pieces of armor that can be upgraded to Mythic quality, though it takes Mythic tier content to get the reagents.
