There might be -some- overlap, but the majority definitely aren't in the MDI.

I can't see 11.0 being revealed at Blizzcon, it would undermine Dragonflight. However, if it's a revamp... maybe some kind of model teases?

They always reveal the next expansion around a year after the previous one. If there is a BlizzCon 2023 11.0 will be there.

Meanwhile, your average regular Joe crafter just trying to get by in his mom and pop store: "Oh darn it, I can't compete with those prices."

Thats not how it works. The player that is buying the item provides the soulbound reagent. Guilds wont be able to make Mythic gear for everybody. Only players that raid mythic can get mythic crafted gear. Players that choose not to raid mythic can still get heroic gear which is fine.

Friday seems so weird to release an alpha, maybe an unencrypted build but i doubt they'll do it this time.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I noticed something. I went to the News forum thread and then the "Fluffy and You" thread. The blue that posted it worded it that was where they wanted feedback about the new pets. Does this mean alpha IS just sitting around the corner? Seems kind of strange to post that when your average Joe player doesn't have access yet. Just a thought.

Idk it just seemed like "hey guys we know you like unique pets. We like unique pets too. Back in the day we wanted pets to permanently die. Players found a better way. This talent reduces pet damage. We will address issues in Dragonflight."

Yeah, highly doubt Alpha starting on a Friday. A client however could be in the cards still if they need the client as soon as Monday/Tuesday.

Starting any alpha on a Friday is just a bad choice. Anyone in IT knows that releasing on Friday is asking for trouble with weekend jobs to fix shit.
