Hopefully we will still get alpha this week. Don't see how something happening on the 21 would impact it, but if it did, to me ABK workers rights are more important.
Regardless, all the support to ABK workers alliance! Actually not letting go in regards to the policies. It seems many who criticized Blizzard for its scandals in this matter, were only doing it because it was another reason to hate on Blizzard, and not because they were actually invested in the disparities and working conditions for employees there, since they now show scorn and distaste for them doing the appropriate actions to change said conditions.
Though it's helpful in knowing who to add to ignore.
In my opinion it definitely is because even if they are scripted, GW2 world feels way more dynamic and "living" than anything Blizzard served us in the last years. And that's more than enough to improve WoW's open world.
Besides events I have no idea what they could actually do or implement to make the open world feel more alive or offer more open world content. Events is the only thing they have not (or barely) touched yet. Giving us 20 instead of 10 world quests might surficially seem like more content, but it would be the most boring approach ever.
MAGA - Make Alliance Great Again
I just want to pimp out my Dragon!
From what Ion said, it sounded more like it will be something more akin to the original concept for microdungeons in the open world. Just combined with some type of new phasing technology to keep these areas to solo or small group sizes.
If I had to guess, its probably the whole "LivingWorld" thing that was datamined early in leak season.
This is ridiculously detailed for speculation. https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comment...tm_name=iossmf
Anyone else feel like it'd be a waste not to give players dragonriding while leveling?
We are getting Dragonriding while leveling. I think the Reddit post just mixed their wording up. The entire Dragon Isles were designed for Dragonriding. In each of their zone speculation pieces, they talk about “taming a different dragon”. Obviously, each of these dragons are part of each zone’s “Dragon Covenant/Faction” as you would call it.
I use to like Reddit for new gaming info. But then I found out 90% of the top comments there are either bots or companies marketing, and the real opinions are from sort by controversial. Sad, r/wow used to be a good subreddit, it truly has all gone to hell in the last 2 expansions.
I wasn’t linking the Reddit post as fact. Just something to discuss as it is so detailed. From my understanding (watching all interviews), every zone has a faction with Renown (reputation replacement or covenant adjacent). Each faction has a Dragonriding mount which we obtain leveling in each zone. We get to progress our Dragonriding skill AND work on our Renown with each “covenant” at the same time (unlike SL making you choose one).
