Oh, sorry, I meant gamers. They act like they cared when the allegations about Blizzard came out, but as soon as the workers are trying to turn the company around and it affects them negatively in the slightest, they want them to go back into their shitty cubicles and stop crying.

Alright, you got me. I thought it just said "safe state or county", not 'country'.

EDIT: I think guaranteed option for remote work is fine as a demand, however, especially if they have proof that working in-office is, for some, unsafe and very clearly undesirable. Not to mention the cost of living that accompanies in-office work in that area. Letting them work out of state would drop costs for the company AND the worker.

EDIT2: Apparently these are people who work all over the world anyway, so including "country" makes sense.

I don't think Unionization stuff matters beyond reducing content post-launch and I mean we already accept 2 major content patches, so who cares.

But then you got what you have right now with world bosses: Mindless target dummies because there is no accountability. You can't have high DPS requirements because you can't do anything about people doing 200 DPS. You can't have (any, really) hard mechanics, because most players are just not good enough, and if someone fucks it up, even if the mechanic just affects them, they will still have boosted the boss HP.

Hell, GW2 has this exact issue where they can't have any metas that are more than just "autoattack and sometimes switch targets" because, as Dragons End has shown, if any more is required of the player base, it just doesn't work.

Again, I'm not here to solve these issues, I'm just giving an example of what they can do to make open world content better (or at least "different", if you and others don't think events would make it better). Until I've seen a better idea of what they can do for open world, I'll stick to events.

I mean, it's 4 oversized zones which I guess is cool on foot but when you are zoom-zooming on your Dragon doing World Quest Nodes on random hourly timers and other activities that have no connection to the other players or the state of the game world. I mean, meh.
