I think what they ment as "third world politics" is how poorly workers are treated in the US; not the workers wanting more rights

Or, I dunno, when they respect other humans beings and accept that we all deserve certain rights?

If you actually think that's what they're asking for, you're falling for corporate propaganda. Please educate yourself.

If that's the case, then I rescind the harshness of my statement and apologize. If not, then the statement stands.

"All ABK employees must have the option to choose fully remote work. For positions which are impossible to operate outside of physical office (such as facilities), employees must have the option to relocate to an office in a safe state or country."

    It's literally their first demand.

Oh, sorry, I meant gamers. They act like they cared when the allegations about Blizzard came out, but as soon as the workers are trying to turn the company around and it affects them negatively in the slightest, they want them to go back into their shitty cubicles and stop crying.

Gee whiz, women don't wanna work in states that are stripping rights away left, right and center.

Ahhh, I apologize. Another misunderstanding it seems. I really should stop assuming the worst of people, huh? You're right, it's depressing af to see people act this way. Amazing how they're so willing to ignore actual abuse, poor compensation, and shitty working conditions if there's a shiny toy for them on the line.

Alright, you got me. I thought it just said "safe state or county", not 'country'.

EDIT: I think guaranteed option for remote work is fine as a demand, however, especially if they have proof that working in-office is, for some, unsafe and very clearly undesirable. Not to mention the cost of living that accompanies in-office work in that area. Letting them work out of state would drop costs for the company AND the worker.

EDIT2: Apparently these are people who work all over the world anyway, so including "country" makes sense.

Do note that this is for employees in Activision, Blizzard, and King. Where there are employees stationed all over the world, hence the mentioning of country.

Thank you for the clarification, that makes a lot more sense.

I more meant that in regards to those who are getting all riled up over the bit about relocating country-wise, actually. But you aren't wrong either.

    Alpha will launch.

I don't think Unionization stuff matters beyond reducing content post-launch and I mean we already accept 2 major content patches, so who cares.
I no longer reply to quotations beyond if you're asking a genuine question or have a non-confrontational stance.

    Nihil.

Hell, GW2 has this exact issue where they can't have any metas that are more than just "autoattack and sometimes switch targets" because, as Dragons End has shown, if any more is required of the player base, it just doesn't work.
Again, I'm not here to solve these issues, I'm just giving an example of what they can do to make open world content better (or at least "different", if you and others don't think events would make it better). Until I've seen a better idea of what they can do for open world, I'll stick to events.

I don’t just want a lot of imps (ok I do want that but not the point), I want only imps and nothing but imps.

The only exception is one big fat imp mother preferably popping out more imps.
All I ever wanted was the truth. Remember those words as you read the ones that follow. I never set out to topple my father's kingdom of lies from a sense of misplaced pride. I never wanted to bleed the species to its marrow, reaving half the galaxy clean of human life in this bitter crusade. I never desired any of this, though I know the reasons for which it must be done. But all I ever wanted was the truth.

And I absolutely don't care about the work environment at Blizzard. So we're even. But let's be real here, the majority is like me and couldn't care less how Blizzard treats its employees.
