Finally a new mount collecting achievement for 500 mounts, though currently just a regular grayish brown yeti, so hopefully a placeholder.

I mean, I don't think it is.

Isn't the only other Yeti mount the one from Warlords CM? Pretty unique if not a bit boring.

When the Devs said Sindragosa would be back & that Kalegos would be going to this big depository of Arcane knowledge & interacting with a kind of hologram character I guessed "Oh the hologram will probabaly be Sindragosa, ala Cortana" and I'm actually surprised I was right.

Anyone want to guess what's up with the purple banner? For some reason I don't think it's the Black.

Could be the lighting. Or maybe they will semi-retcon black dragons to being more of a purple-ish black instead of the red and black they are now.

There is the feast of winter veil yeti that looks almost identical.

What makes me wonder if it's placeholder is that it has a version for Horde and Alliance, and there are currently no actual differences between them.

But then they added one for Winter Veil too, so the yeti mount model has been pretty easily obtainable for years now.

You WILL enjoy transmogging to cloth/leather Gray/White items but only as a Cloth/Leather armor wearing class!

If only they removed the armor restrictions on transmog once and for all. That limitation is long overdue being removed.

It will never happen, we will see if they add some pink armor to the game though. After all, they've decided to ignore 100% of the feedback surrounding Transmog and Roleplayer concerns on the Council.

Might just be an aesthetic choice if the colors have something to do with the dungeon design itself. There's glowing gems on the floor so kind of hard to implement black into that.

It will never happen, we will see if they add some pink armor to the game though. After all, they've decided to ignore 100% of the feedback surrounding Transmog and Roleplayer concerns on the Council.

It's probably the only thing which makes me seriously consider the old complaint that Blizzard willfully holds back community suggestions so they have some goodwill decisions in the bank.
I cannot seriously imagine Blizzard actually believing the argument about player silhouette when hiding all armor is possible, not to mention actual cosmetic gear like Lightforged and DI dwarves wearing obvious plate.

Looking at it, might also be purple because it's impossible to make a gem that glows black. It's only purple because that is the closest you get to a black gem.

Onyxia had purple wings so it could be as simple as black not always being the dominate color of the flight. If the banners are after we return to the isles then it could reflect a different direction Wrathion is taking to rebuild the flight.

I mean, the only evil dragonflight that have a dark-skinned mortal form and black as their primary color. Am I wrong?
