Its gonna feel awkward when that happens but I guess they are trying to read the room to see how people feel.

I took the raw images from wow.tools and overlayed them. Unless Blizzard has changed the scaling of minimap images, which I don't believe they ever have, it should be quite accurate.

Thats twice the size of Pandaria or the Broken Isles btw for reference. 30% bigger than Kultiras and Zandlar if you smashed them together.
Keep in mind that the majority of Sholazar Basin and Howling Fjord are just overlayed onto water on the Dragon Isles map, and half of Zul'Drak is taken up by impassable empty mountains. This is largely offset by the Azure Span and Forbidden Reach, so they are closer in size than it may appear.

Unless the Wowhead datamining nameis just something they made up, it looks like the crab-like creatures that look like Mantid ARE actually "Primal Mantid".

Also I think one of the Primals is a dungeon boss. So they won't all be raid bosses like the storm one.

LOTS of Stone Sethrak variants. Maybe they are getting origin lore this expansion? Which is odd, as Sethraliss is a wild god.

Dunno, maybe it is just using their models but presenting them as a different, dragon-related race?

    As predicted.

"By the end of 10.0 you'll have a good sense of what the final boss of the expansion will be."

So, not after we clear the raid? Some kind of a extra event or story development afterwrds?
Its probably gonna be known even before the game launches, unless they encrypt all the story content.

I’m getting vibes of the “primal Zerg” theme from StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm from these creatures on the Dragon Isles…

Well, if they say "by the end of 10.0", then I think they mean it. They can hide stuff at will now, maybe an extra cinematic later in the patch to reveal the Big Bad?

Hmm two cosmetic swords have been added (no models yet) named Elune's Wrath and Elune's Fury

End of 10.0 suggests either by the time you finish the renown of all the factions OR end of raid. If it is the latter, most likely in an encrypted cinematic.

I mean if it is in a cinematic, its probably going to be nozdormu turning. It would be weird to not know and then suddenly know after the cinematic :P

It's probably Galakrond with Murozond as the reason why he can come back. However I think Xalatath will play a part in corrupting Nozdormu/creating Murozond and there will probably be some kind of void tease for the future with the Aqir-looking creatures.

Raids are cleared in the day of the release, and that's ~2 weeks into the expansion. So I do not think this is it.

End of x.0 always means the end of the first raid.

I would be satisfied with Galakrond, if <and only if> Murozond/The Infinite Dragonflight is involved… they are the most interesting Dragons imo. There could be a semi Guldan situation w/Murozond serving as a catalyst, deal with him & the Infinite & Xalatath/Void Lords in the future/next expac… please gimme space travel and shenanigans Blizz pleasssse, you can redeem WOD! Lol.

Did anyone check if the primal incarnate bosses had the models from the concept art?

I don't think so, the ones ingame have wings. Concept art was fat with no wings.

As a new "Dark Ranger/Undead/Darkfallen" Night Elf Druid, I really hope they add a glyph to allow tree form to be the cool withered, mushroom covered model they added.

The concept art had wings, its just they were separate from the body to show off both.

Anyway there's several models on the front page right now that correspond with the concept art.

The Scourge/Lich-King was trying to raise his skeleton as a Frost Wyrm. It is possible to bring him back by simply empowering him with Titan and Elemental magic. Which would fit better with the story then having the fall and turning of Murozond play out in a patch/zone. Remember the Aspects don't even have their power back yet which is something I believe Murozond requires to be any real threat.
