looks like we have a timeskip
![]()
Eh, the time skip doesn't make much sense? Unless Tyrande meeting Merithra happens in the prepatch. Otherwise what would she be waiting for?
I'm seeing some testers saying the conversation is happening, some people saying they don't see it. WoWhead's encouraging people not to count their chickens before they hatch because there's every possibility it's cut dialogue that got oopsie'd into the patch. Gotta wait and see if it sticks around in the next update.

So, looks like Dracthyr can shapeshift just like any dragon, with no restrictions.
The PC just chooses to be an elf or human.
That's just flat out wrong.

Not really. It's because Kalimdor and EK aren't the focus right now. If they become the focus later they will most likely get updated to show that change.
It's like how Darkshore is in BFA time while if you travel south to the Barrens it's in Cataclysm time.
I've just taken a look at the shaman talent trees and oh boy do I not like them. They all feel all over the place.
I like a couple of new talents like the poison removal totem. But playing an enhancement shaman with this class tree will feel bizarre to any new player as it felt very uncomfortable to me who knows how the class is expected to be played at max level.
I'm wishing for a blue post to explaon a bit more the philosophy behind this new tree
From how WoWhead worded it, an existing that had finished the intro and was on the dragon isles and was rewound to Stormwind for this wave of testing saw it, but completely newly created characters can't see it when doing the same quest, which is why they're musing on it potentially being something we're not supposed to see

So, Noz's evilification is definitely happening.
I think slowly adding more races is a much better idea than just adding all the default ones in.
It's obvious a lot of care an work went into the visage forms despite a lot of people not liking them, (especially if they only look at the screenshots on the front page) so if they do that each time they add a new race it would mean the Dracthyr would be the most customisable race in WoW.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
There is a difference between making old dungeon bosses into open world rares and scaling up an old, lame dungeon that's not even HD if you already have an updated version at hand. Shadowlands pre-event was a cheap whatever "event" while for Dragonflight, they return to "we give you a dungeon as a tease" way of MoP and WoD. They also said that Alex would send us to retrieve discs of Tyr during the pre-patch, which fit the name of the new wing aswell.

Which is a good change tbh.
