You're generally right but the Winter Queen outright says that Ysera is bound to the realm after she helps her.

"You are reborn in Ardenweald, Child of Dreams. To this realm are you bound, and you will share its fate."

That's true, and it does feel a little erratic for them to not stick to that. But it isn't that farfetched. They also did write her saying that she'd see Azeroth once more if Elune wills it, just that it would require some sacrifice.

When it comes to a class I think its very important to provide options, especially if its locked to a single race, offering a few options will make the class more playable, by making the visage form a choice.

I don't dislike Ysera, and I'm aware of how little consequence the aspect of death in the Warcraft universe already was, but I just don't get the point of killing off a character (in an emotionally impactful fashion at that) to just bring them back.

Even more hilarious is that before Shadowlands it was kinda certain that she would come back. She is the Aspect of the Emerald Dream, and powerful beings tied to the Dream have been reborn before.

Then Shadowlands happen, and she is tied to Ardenweald, never to be reborn into the mortal plane again, making the whole Ardenweald questline really impactful.

And then they 180 that decision in the expansion after it and rebirth her anyways.

Christ in Hell, Blizz doesn't write stories, they coinflip stories.

Could work in a way like DB, where she is only really there for a temporary point of time lmao. That, or Elune and the WQ can bend the rules a bit.
