Yet also as humble as health and humor permit.
Furthermore, I consider that Carthage Slam must be destroyed.
They all live closely together in a bunch of dwarf metropoles in Khaz Modan, which consists of primarily a bunch of green, sunny highlands and valleys, with Dun Morogh being the only snowy region.
There are 3 seperate dwarf clans, all of which differ in appearance to some extent or another.
Not only did they not 'evolve' into being, their origins are entirely artificial, their history has always had them intermingle with one another.

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
Real-world race/identity politics aren't relevant to this thread and are not a permitted topic. Let's return the discussion back to discussing the Alpha/Beta.
"We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." ― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
As far as the supposed spirit healer change goes, I probably wouldn't mind if they ended up changing their models, though I don't think it's necessary. The spirit healers can still be acknowledged as Kyrians without changing them to look like literally every single other armored Kyrian in Bastion. In fact, I'd probably rather that; it's probably more refreshing to the Kyrian lore that the Watchers in particular have different uniforms.
As a lore change it makes no difference, post-SL the Spirit Healers are Kyrian watchers anyway. As an aesthetic choice, using the high definition model made and never used for SL is better than using the more boring model reuse version of the standard armored Kyrian.

Speaking of armored Kyrians. I wonder whether it would have been interesting to get a version of Kyrian armor that looks more like a Toga, or at least the flowing robes that the Spirit Healers have.
It's a bit weird looking back that despite Kyrians literally being Spirit Healers you never actually got to really look like them.

For all that the Kyrians being hte inspiration for the Val'kyr/being Spirit Healers is among the parts that make the most sense out of any SL change and fits completely with the foreshadowing done with Odyn trading his eye to peer into the Shadowlands, the expansion does fuck all with it. The most focus we get is that first Kyrian campaign chapter and then world quests. But then SL is the king of relegating essential worldbuilding into the most cancerous and hard to consistently access forms of content.
As to the aesthetics, in general only parts of Maldraxxus and Revendreth went full out with the concept they were going with. Too many 'safe' choices graphically, and it extends to the sets. The Kyrian cosmetic set comes the closest but even it's kind of naff and doesn't capture the Spirit Healer look.

The main reason you think this, is the coloring scheme. There is more difference between the different facemorph and their respective textures you will be able to tell ten human players apart by, than between the dragons and their muzzles, because the basic head and eyeshape is always identical. I believe you will notice that yourself once the new-car-smell wore off...

The cosmetic set added in 9.1 did look like a toga. Or really, looked a bit like what Hermes wears in ancient greek statues. I think it would have made sense to make the different Kyrian orders more visually distinct. Plate for the psychopomp Bearers since they seem to be the fighters, cloth for the Watchers, leather/mail for the Collectors. I mean the sets exist already.
One of the Kyrian sets is basically a toga with laurels.
As for why it isn't flowing, that's mostly engine limitations. Making flowing cloth in WoW's engine is hard, and night-impossible to implement on so many racial models without outrageous amounts of clipping. Thus it's almost always relegated to NPC models.

The internet: where to every action is opposed an unequal overreaction.
So a question for those who have either tried it on Beta, or generally just fiddled with the talent calculator.
Has anyone else found any interesting talent combinations that you hope will be viable?
Personally tried out a variant of MM that just flat out didn't take any Arcane Shot buffs, and consequently meant more points towards the end, with a much more straightforward Trueshot rotation. Probably not ideal in terms of DPS, but it looks to me like a decent route for MM to go, especially with all the Wind Arrow synergy at the bottom.
