As monster hunter player. There is LOTS of monsters that specific weapons just feel useless against.

Like hammer versus what the fuck his name is the elemental dragon boi, hammer does hrorid elemental damage, which is required to damage him, and he spends the entire fight in the air, so hitting his head is insane.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
They changed the crafted plate legs Why Blizzard

I mean the new effects is pretty decent but I loved the previous one.
Gonna go sulk in a corner.

Love the UI for the Dragonriding talents and vigor looks even better in that sky blue colour.

While we did not get music, I think we got Ambient Sounds. On the Login screen you can hear the ambient sounds from the waterfalls at Tyrhold.
Also crafting orders are finally in though in Placeholder format. Well they don't exactly work but it's progress.

I was wondering... would there be the option to choose different type of voices for the Dracthyr? For example, I prefer the male voice acting for the dragon form, but the female voice for the visage. If we have Chromie as an example, that should be possible, right?

Honestly if they want to go with something as silly as body type1 and 2 instead of feminine and masculine (NOT male and female) they should allow you to choose voice as well.

Been testing the mining nodes for an hour now. They have mining nodes that intentionally spawn under lava! (they are high yield nodes that give rousing fire). But there is a toy that gives lavaswimming so I guess that's what it's for.

Well, we don't know if it's proximity based.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

I'd assume that discharge means that you will either be pulsing damage around you or emitting some type of projectile around you. Both would be far more problematic for melee.

They certainly have put work in everything profession and world related. People will appreciate it when it is live but there is so much to do.

Glad the Dracthyr voices sound mature enough. Fits them for being so old.

But are they old really? Being in stasis for 20k years doesn't age you.

Anyone else a regular in all previous expansion betas but still waiting this time around? Not salty at all. Nope. Not me.

Well, uh... Fits the idea of them being old then, ancient.

Being in stasis isn't any different from travelling through time into the future. They don't age during it.

Sure, Dracthyr are from ancient time, but are they elderly as individuals? No.

Well that's why I said idea in the second post, people would look at a dragon and think "damn, this lizard must be pretty old".

I think they were around for a while tbh. They are lvl 58 when you start after all and they all have vague memories of the first war against the Primalists (many of them seem to have a faint memory of Raszageth they cannot pin down). We do not know the timeline but I don't think the war against the Primalists happened immediately before the Sundering; I'd assume Neltharion was not mad yet.

Imo it actually looks quite good ingame, although the riding animation is a bit weird. I guess the intention is to give us a mount that's usable in dungeons, hence no dragonriding customization although imo that's a bit of a shame. Gladiators once again get the top notch fomo stuff while pve people are only getting another mythic drop that will be farmable in future expansions ...

The scism against Primalists happened sometime after Galagrond's fall and the titanic empowerment of the Aspects. Becoming the Titans' pet was the whole thing that fractured the dragonkind.

Dracthyr were sealed during or shortly after that war.

So that means the Dracthyr are fucking ancient.
